Support Local Palestinian Businesses!!!
This is Freddy Zebara, the owner of King of Falafel and Shawarma. He is Palestinian. As many of you know, Palestinians outside of Palestine are facing many challenges regarding discrimination and hate crimes.
We must be there for our Palestinian sisters and brothers no matter where they are.
If you live in New York, heck if you like to try good food, please support Freddy at his shop.
The location is 3015 Broadway, Astoria, NY 11106.

why do people hate shuro so much? i think the way he acts and his reasons makes sense. i went into dungeon meshi expecting shuro doing something really, really, really bad which is what made people wound up hating him, but it turns out, he's just an average asian man of noble origins that struggles to communicate his feelings verbally because of the culture he's from. i don't know. i think i understand the way he acts, his behaviours, and his reasonings more thoroughly because i am asian myself. why does the english speaking fandom hold such a grudge towards shuro? when he doesn't really even hate laios, and that his love for falin is unrequited anyways. i am confused.. though i have not finished the chapters yet, so there might be something i am missing.

Full tweet:
🚨🚨 In the space of 2 weeks we’ve gone from a pilot project that involved my cousin making and distributing one pot of fortified stew a day to a fully fledged soup kitchen with 10 volunteers that feeds 160 families a day or roughly 800 hungry people daily, in Omdurman #Sudan
To do this we’ve cut out all possible overhead costs to ensure we can feed as many people as possible
🟢Our volunteers are unpaid
🟢Our cooking utensils are borrowed
🟢The kitchens storage rooms are donated free of charge
🟢Transport of food items from the market to the kitchen is free courtesy of my Cousin’s Tuk tuk.
🟢However, in order to maintain this kitchen beyond Ramadan we need you to support this Gofundme that is now fully funding this kitchen 🙏🏽
Id: there are two photos in the tweet. The first in the tweet are of a group of men and women. The second is of stacks of backs of lentils.

I would immediately be suspicious of any argument that leans heavily on dehumanizing the Middle East. A big reason why the world has let Palestinian genocide go on for this long is because to them Arabs are misogynistic homophobic violent backwards terrorists, so many people have grown comfortable to the idea that war is inherent to Arab countries—because they literally see Arabs as subhuman. This has been their strategy for years and years and years. It’s literally the same cycle over and over again.
