okay hands down banri's sexiest moment in mankai stage is in autumn 2022, specifically the scene where azami got into that car 'accident'. literally everyone else in the scene was freaking out—kumon (on the phone) was seconds away from spiralling into a panic attack and was blaming himself for the accident, matsukawa wasn't really helping and yelling in panic at kumon which only added to the poor boy's panic, sakyo stumbled and couldn't get up to help. banri took in the whole scene, saw that they needed someone to stay calm and get shit done, and so he took the phone from matsukawa and very deliberately used a low, even voice to ask kumon which hospital azami was at and then told kumon to stay with azami. throughout the whole of autumn 2022 we see banri grow into his role of the leader (helping azami with his audition, teaching azami the fun of acting, hearing sakyo out after his spat with azami) but that scene for me really solidified to me that banri was no longer that bratty boy but growing into a level-headed, responsible young man who can take charge of the situation 🤌🏻

I calculated ages assuming the ages listed on year 1 cards are as of April 1, 2017, because March 31st/April 1st are the end/start dates of the Japanese school year and when a lot of media bases ages on for that reason

 deeply obsessed with Sakyo hanging out with winter troupe because they let him be normal, when i was 17 i gave my 20 year old friend grief about being elderly nonstop so i can’t even IMAGINE the blender of decrepit mockery akigumi puts mr furuichi through on the daily, specifically i have this one scene that loops in my head of sakyo eating slices of soft peaches with winter troupe and trying not to tear up because he loves soft peaches so much and he hates hard, crisp peaches but whenever he eats something with less solidity than a carrot around his troupe ONE of the little bastards say “dentures not up to par today, sakyo?” and so tsumugi’s rubbing circles on sakyo’s back while guy cuts another peach for him and softly saying “it’s fine, you can enjoy the soft peach” and sakyo’s choking up like “they’re delicious”

I don't know how to explain it but opening the a3! en app now feels like someone left the door to mankai theatre unlocked so you walk in out of curiosity. The ticket sales window is shuttered shut. There's a layer of dust over everything. The walls are patterned with faded rectangles where posters were once hung.
