Camelot!

This took me about four days to build, and I’m super proud of it! I did my best to include every room I could remember from the show (I wasn’t SUPER worried about being perfectly accurate, though), and I also added a bunch of stuff that would generally make sense to have in a medieval castle to fill in the empty spaces.

List of rooms inspired by the BBC Merlin TV show:

The throne room (it looks nothing like the one in the show, I just had fun) complete with a miniature round table and a “choir loft”

A formal dining room directly underneath the throne room because I’m pretty sure they use the same room for feasts and official court business but I’m going to be too lazy to change it back and forth between the two and I’m sure if anyone ends up downloading it, they would, too

Gaius’ physician’s quarters and Merlin’s adjoined bedroom

Arthur’s room

Morgana’s room

Uther’s room (I didn’t include a picture in this post, it’s not important)

Library (plus a secret antechamber full of hidden magical artifacts 👀 but you didn’t hear that from me shh magic is illegal, don’t you know?)

Kitchen

Armory (not exactly an actual armory, since there’s no medieval expansion pack for The Sims 4, but I did my best.)

The rooms not inspired by the show are mostly guest rooms for “visiting nobles” (aka space filler) and servants’ quarters (aka more space filller) or bathrooms, which are definitely not historically accurate, but there aren’t exactly chamber pots in The Sims. 

There are a few empty rooms, and that’s not an oversight on my part! I plan to play in this castle myself, and there are going to be royal babies. I don’t want to decorate the nurseries until I know what I want the babies’ personalities to be like. Also I might need some more medieval baby/toddler custom content. 

I’m RockyRoadSims on the Sims 4 gallery if you’re interested in this, but I did use a lot of expansion packs to decorate.

Weird side note: my sims hate the decor in this castle? they get an uncomfortable moodlet that won’t go away no matter how many expensive paintings and rugs I add, so… 🤷‍♀️ I think it has something to do with the fact that the walls are all exactly the same, but THAT’S HOW CASTLES LOOK OK GET OVER IT YOU SNOOTY ROYALS

god I loved drawing el,,, I gave her a sparkly fun pen and mismatched socks and a big jumper (that i saw mutuals on here talking about how she should wear one of them) and it made me so happy ...shes just a sweet gal :(

What if we get 2 trailers for s4? I mean we could get "Stranger Things 4 Vol.1 Trailer" and "Stranger Things 4 Vol.2 Trailer". I'm really not sure but it could be a possibility or maybe they just do it as usual idk.

Wait!!!!weird crack-theory/ thought. Should we trust suzie???

Remember how brenner's coleuge (in s1) mentioned a camp, and asked Mr clarke if he knew any kids who wanted to join?Then we have suzie from camp -know where. Like is this a linguistic pun for "... camp? no . where?" What if the camp is just a way to recruit kids with capabilities.or suzie is a number and her assignment was to get close to the boys for intel. And since Dustin was the only one who went. Hm.

One s4 movie is "get out": photographer realizes his gf and her parents are trying to kidnap him,when staying at their house. The movie tries to trick you into thinking she's not in on the parents' plans,until she blocks his way to escape the house. Or the st comic "6": Francine's bf is a number (003) spying on her . He was given that assignment , a fake name, fake parents , all to get close to her for intel. And to learn if she also had powers,like him.

Not to mention dustin in s1, mentioned "lando" and in s3 "set up". So it would be awfully IRONIC if suzie is just a spy/fake gf who's assignment was to get Intel. And dustin suggests to jonathan (a photographer ) and company,to go to suzie's. (unaware it's a trap).What if suzie is " lando"? Aka a friend who betrays the gang.

What if the reason everyone joked suzie "wasn't real" and "doesn't exist" ,in s3- was because her identity and feelings for dustin '"aren't real" ?

We even had "total recall" and "Mr and Mrs. Smith" (on the s4 list): where his wife was actually an enemy- spy undercover . Plus, "Truman show" was on the s4 list too: actress pretends to be wife to Truman, while Truman is unaware it's an act. Not to mention in a show that has shown spying utilized by the usa gov/mindflayer. We've never seen a true "undercover-spy" in the show.

Plus,girl was awfully happy/nonchalant about Dustin's admission of monsters/saving the world.
