Love how tumblr has its own folk stories. Yeah the God of Arepo we’ve all heard the story and we all still cry about it. Yeah that one about the woman locked up for centuries finally getting free. That one about the witch who would marry anyone who could get her house key from her cat and it’s revealed she IS the cat after the narrator befriends the cat.

This is why I really appreciate working from a prompt with a set subject matter.

I looked at the next prompt, 'shallow' and really had no idea what to do, so I went with a raccoon looking into a puddle.

This turned into a really interesting mirror drawing exercise, which progressed to the next two drawings.

I'm also having a lot of fun getting to 'know' raccoons. I'm enjoying drawing their unique features rather than making them a dog / cat combination with dark eyes and a stripy tail.

In the last two drawings, it was really interesting to study the difference between a fox and a raccoon!
