i feel like because it came out later, im supposed to think "guess we lied" is better than "if you're gonna lie"? i get that she's writing from a later stage in the breakup but the chorus doesn't really make sense if they don't know each other anymore, like is the ex still lying (or in her bed) if they don't know each other?

I also miss the reggae-inspired beat and the recurring "but not in a good way"
