it's kind of interesting to navigate people who don't want to see / hear / think about kinks or fetishes or "unusual" sex acts that make them uncomfortable, and like, moralize or shame the person who engages in those things. like. there are lots of "typical" sex acts that make me uncomfortable to ruminate on and i just, like, express that limit or remove myself from a conversation when that's necessary and don't go "ew ur yucky disgusting. hope you feel like shit btw!"

i think what's actually funnier is the truth, the mythbusters don't hate each other, jamie used to be adam's boss at a shop in SF doing engineering stuff and prop making and so on, before they ended up getting the mythbusters gig. they argued a lot but in the like. nerds way. jamie actually worked w adam after mythbusters for a while but is just too private a person and didnt want to be on camera anymore. knowing the dynamic of 'my old boss is now my equal coworker and also we blow stuff up' totally adds to rewatching the show LOL i still love it :)
oh thank god. a friend of mine messaged me to let me know it wasn't true but i'm so glad to also get this extra context omg. i was victim to a tumblr rumour it seems... this is much much much better LMAO.
