Seeing rumors of the Pluto anime being cancelled due to a concept art and settei leak from what seems to be a former disgruntled employee working on the show.
Animators and the Episode 4 director who have worked on the Pluto anime have not heard that the Pluto anime is cancelled.
Until a major producer or company working on the Pluto anime confirms it, the Pluto anime has not been cancelled yet. Look for an official update from Masao Maruyama, Naoki Urasawa, Genco, Studio M2, or Tezuka Productions.
More on this huge Astro Boy news story when details are available.

We have some huge news! The complete English-dubbed version of Astro Boy 1980 episode 1 has resurfaced, and you can watch it on Youtube! It’s also available on the Internet Archive.
The dub was originally recorded at the University of Wisconsin in 1980. The crew was very small, and had very few voice actors - most notably are Patty Whitely as Astro/Livian/Ms. Ford, Del Lewis as Dr. Boynton, and 17-year-old Jay Rath as Atlas/Guiss/Skunk. The crew eventually grew over time as they recorded the whole series thru 1981. For a long time, the only known surviving copy of the complete dub was on a master tape by one of the university sound engineers. The North American distributors edited the first two episodes together for reasons that are still unknown.

Audio
The full-length disco instrumental for the Astro le Petit Robot theme! It was originally scored by Nariaki Saegusa (mis-credited on the record as “Seagusa”) and slightly rearranged by Osvaldo Montes.

Audio
The French opening theme for Shin Tetsuwan Atom (1980), recorded in Montreal, Quebec in 1984. The theme uses a slightly altered version of the original Japanese theme’s arrangement, with added vocals by Franck Olivier, a Belgian singer who performed many other French anime openings in the 1980s.

The “exclusive” Astro Boy NFT...if you’d like to own it in high resolution without the “SAMPLE”, you can spend $8000 on it and burn down a tree...but if you don’t care about the watermark, here it is for free.

Images from a cube puzzle, produced in 1984 by France Jouets. Each puzzle piece was a lightweight plastic cube with six decorated sides that could be assembled into a full-colour image. Most curiously, one of the sides - shown in image 8 - is of a robot dog and ship bridge that do not actually appear in Shin Tetsuwan Atom (1980).

I am disappointed to see Tezuka Productions allowing NFTs to be sold of Osamu Tezuka’s work. NFTs require a large cost of energy to have and leave a carbon footprint, which are counterproductive to what Osamu Tezuka would’ve wanted in not harming the environment. I will not be linking to the site selling these NFTs.
In addition, NFTs are notorious for stealing the artwork of others and selling them for profit.
I have never supported NFTs, and will never support them.
