A smirk appears on Kiyoomi’s lips as you stood in front of him, eyes as wide as it could while staring at him in surprise and awe.

Honestly, it’s been awhile since you’ve last saw him. During that time, you were comparably taller than him back then and he could easily hide himself behind you. But now… 

“Wow,” you whispered in awe. “Y-You’re. . . wow.” 

You turned to Motoya who taps your shoulder, leaving you with his cousin and giving you two a time to catch-up.

“You shrunk.”

“Hey!” you complained, making him snicker (which he immediately masked with a fake cough). “I didn’t shrink! You just grew way too much!” you retorted.

You continued to ramble on and on about how he remained prickly and frank despite all the years that had passed by that you didn’t noticed how his gaze softens while looking at you.

“Are you listening to me?” you asked, eyebrows furrowed while pouting.

Kiyoomi clears his throat before raising his eyebrow. “Sorry, I can’t hear you from here.”

“You little!”

Kiyoomi snickered, earning a bewildered reactions from everyone in the room besides the two of you. If only you knew how much he missed you and how much he wanted to approach you instead of waiting for crumbs of information from Motoya.

Then, he sighs. 

Until he’s ready to confess his feelings towards you, he’ll just keep his lips sealed and enjoy every second he’ll spend with you. He’s willing to wait… he just hopes that he’ll be able to keep himself from squishing your cheeks or kiss the tip of your nose.
