Part 2

You fabricated a story of how both you and Schoenheit have seemed to reach a middle ground and have made peace with one another. You wished you could tell Χάος the truth, that you could cry out your heart to him, to tell him about the abusive words cursed upon you, and how you ran into the kind hearted individual, Neige LeBlanche, and the new friendship you developed with him and how thoughtful the man was with gifting you one of his old working phones. Although you only had one contact within the device, you still adored it nonetheless, but made sure to have it well hidden on your person at all times.
Within minutes of Χάος leaving your home after making dinner, you jumped at the opportunity of using your newfound gadget, and immediately begun texting back and forth with your new friend. When neither of you were occupied with your studies or other adults, not to mention Neige's work, you would text one another for hours on end, responding to one another within seconds.
The first time Neige came over was nerve wracking; you were worried about getting caught by any of the adults in your life. You went so far as to memorize everyone's schedules within the household so you and LeBlanche could plan accordingly. It was the first time you would ever have anyone over, much less in secret; it was exciting, in a terrifying way, to directly be disobeying so many set rules, all in order to have a friend over.
All your worries started to melt away the more often he came over. You became better at cleaning up after yourselves so you wouldn't get caught; you even started to get better at lying with his help. You even kept secret that Vil kept sending you invitations for meetings. You worried about what Neige might think if he had found where you had been hiding these. Sure the invitations themselves don't reveal who your supposed "fiancé" is, but the postage itself of course detailed all the information needed to find out who he is.
Ignoring the little gnawing guilt at the back of your mind, you instead focus on the activities you participated in with Neige, especially paying mind to the the little "trend" lots of people your age are currently participating in. According to Neige, there's a ritual that had begun popping up in social media that refers to close friendships that he had wanted to get involved in with you. Promising that he wouldn't involve the need of any pictures or videos being recorded, the ritual was simply explained as the "Happily-Ever After Elixir." You and your partner would recite a few phrases of closeness to one another whilst already holding little bottled elixirs. The praising would activate a magic within the bottles, a magic that is said to keep your bonds tightly knit and lead feuds astray. Once both elixirs are activated, both partners down them simultaneously and the ritual is complete, though the process has to be repeated at least once a month for the magic to work.
Neige was always on top of making sure the ritual came to fruition, he went so far as to have the elixirs prepared every two weeks when you would visit him instead of Vil. He would always become overjoyed whenever the elixirs were consumed, excited to be able to feel "normal" as he would call it. According to Neige, since a young age, his line of work has made him a bit of a celebrity to many, and with such a standard being held up to him, he often feels unapproachable in terms of making "real" friends. Willing to listen to his sorrows, you learn that often times he was approached rather aggressively by other celebrities and fans, constantly approached in a romantic sense that he always declines. Hence why he had built his little house in the woods, hidden from the prying eyes of the public, where he could breathe in peace and feel somewhat normal in a sense. But then he found you, and you were willing to become fast friends with him and help him feel normal again. You're more than just a stranger that ogles at his presence; you've become more than a source of comfort for Neige; you've unknowingly become more than just a friend to Neige.
Hence why he felt gutted when he found that you had kept an invitation from the other man. It was the week before the engagement contract meeting and you had just received the last invitation due in a few days. Neige had arrived a little earlier than expected, so in the commotion of getting things ready, you pocketed the invitation and forgot all about it. That is until you heard, "Y/N, do you plan on visiting him?"
It was odd to hear Neige refer to you by your name, always settling for "Chipmunk" instead. Though when you turned to face him, glancing at the invitation in his hand, you immediately understood why.
"Neige, I can explain-"
"Do you plan on visiting him?"
"Of course not."
"Then why did you keep this?"
Feeling backed into a corner, you try to keep calm whilst answering his questions.
"I just received it today."
"How come you didn't tell me?"
"I didn't want you to feel hurt."
"Why would I feel hurt?", after that question lingered in the air a little longer, he followed it with, "Are there more invitations?"
"No- well, I mean, yes, but-"
"Have you accepted any of them?"
"No, no, no, of course not, never!", you exclaimed, "Why would I ever want to visit him again when I could be spending time with you? Neige, you've become a dear and precious friend to me, one that I would never turn away from or leave behind. You were there for me on my lowest day, you literately rescued me within the forest that day and became my first real friend thereafter. Why would I ever want to hurt you like this?"
The air hung still with a stunned silence, as you left your feelings and reservations out in the open for Neige to do with as he pleased. With tears brimming at the edge of your tear ducts, Neige softly cupped your face and gently brushed away your little tears off your soft cheeks.
"Chipmunk?"
"Yes?"
"I'm sorry I've forced you to do this... to be reduced to tears all because you didn't want to hurt me. I should have been more empathetic of your current living situation and for your feelings as a whole."
You started to feel the twist of guilt slowly unravel as he spoke. You finally felt a total inner peace in connection with LeBlanche. This is all you've ever wanted.
"There's been something I've been keeping from you as well."
And the twist is back, but it felt more so anxious rather than guilty.
"I haven't been completely honest with you either, but I thought it would be best to keep this from you for us to be friends."
Twisting a little tighter...
"It's about the elixir... the truth is that there is one last step to the Happily-Ever After elixir trend."
And a little looser...
"Until recently, I felt that we were not close enough to complete it; I wanted us to be more comfortable around one another, but now I see that I've only really been considerate of my own feelings and not yours. And I'm sorry."
You couldn't help but hold him a little closer in an embrace. He gently places his head on top of your own and continues.
"I want you to trust me just as much as I trust you. I appreciate you trusting me enough to tell me the truth, and I'm sorry you felt that you had to keep this secret hidden away from me so I wouldn't feel hurt."
He pulls you in a little closer.
"And to show you my complete and utter trust in you, I would like to complete the trend with you, but in order to do that, I need you to trust me as well... So, what do you say Chipmunk?", he leans closer until you can feel his soft, heated breath against your neck, "Do you trust me?"

Part 2 - Yandere Vil x Chubby Reader x ???

Part 1 - Part 3
Tumblr media
When Mr. Χάος proposed these "hangouts" (if you can even call them that), you did not imagine that each time you were invited over, the majority of the time would be spent in an awkward dead silence between the both of you. You sincerely make multiple attempts to make friendly conversation with the man, but with your lack of social skills and Vil's blunt answers, it made for poor exchanges. Whenever the hour was up, Vil would dismiss you, and you would call Mr. Χάος shortly after, whom would always be ready to pick you up at a moment's notice; it seemed that out all of your supposed guardians, Mr. Χάος is the one whom cares about you the most. As you would relay the events of said hour, he could tell that you're crestfallen with yourself.
Shortly after each session, Χάος would treat you to your favorite snack, and spend time with you afterwards; from taking you out to a new place to explore to simply making dinner at your place whilst you wallow in your emotions within the comfort of your own space, you simply said the word and Mr. Χάος would do his best to accommodate to your wishes. As professional as his job required him to be, especially as one of your parents' best advisers and legal consultants, Χάος always made time and put effort into caring for you, only with the best intentions in mind. He understood that with you coming of age, you would want to explore more of the outside world rather than the confined limitations of the studies your parents would allow your tutors to teach. With your inept social skills, he also understood that you needed a way to practice how to mingle with others who are not from the small circle of people your parents trust with the secrecy of your existence. Hence, how he came up with his offer for Vil; Vil, being your age, could serve as a familiar to converse with, and afterwards you could also go on small expeditions in the outside world, if you wished.
The only thing Χάος wished could go better would be Schoenheit's behavior towards the temporary arrangement. He expected this conduct to happen within the first two meetings but seeing the fifth meeting bear the same results as the previous ones, he couldn't help but feel weary.
Alas, today is a new day, and with that, the sixth meeting with Vil; you hold hope for a fresh start with your acquaintance. In all sincerity, with the given circumstances, you still could not care if the deal fell through, you just wish you will at least make a friend out of Schoenheit. To have a friendship outside of your limited circle, much less your age, would mean a lot to you, an amazing stride forward towards progress of becoming your own independent being. Much like Χάος, you too wished Vil would be more kind, you wish you could confide in someone from an outside perspective of your caged life and provide some words of comfort. However, with Vil still only giving you short responses and long silences, at this point the only thing that provided you with any sort of warmth was the tea you sipped.
That is until Vil finally was the first to break the silence, with a slip of venom.
"Why do you come here?"
Unprepared for the question, you ask him to repeat himself.
"Why do you come here?"
"I'm sorry, I don't think I understand-"
"Why do you keep coming over? The past five meetings have all been reticent and a complete waste of time; yet here we are again, and nothing has changed."
The man is starting to become heated, and you know little to calm him down, "I'm sorry, Schoenheit, I don't mean to upset you. It's just that in the agreement-"
"To hell with that thing!" You jump, startled by Vil's fist coming down on the table at his interjection. "I never want to hear about that contract ever again, not when every other adult in my life is constantly nagging at me about the bloody thing!"
Your heart is in your throat, and you don't know what to say. "I-I'm sorry, Schoenheit, I didn't know that-"
"Did you ask your parents to make this arrangement?"
"What?"
"Don't think I didn't notice how you never spoke up against the engagement in the meeting!"
Your brain is pounding within your skull, and you don't know what to think. This isn't how this day was supposed to go.
"N-No, it's not-"
Yet the man still addresses you in disgust.
"Fucking Pervert. Wasting my time with what could be some semblance of peace and quiet for myself."
"..."
"Do you always do whatever your mommy and daddy tell you to do?"
Tears start to cascade down your cheeks freely, and your vision starts to blur. You couldn't argue against him at that moment, after all, that is what you have been doing with your life up to that point. "Please... stop."
"Of course, you still keep up formalities, even with a man whose face you still refuse to even look at and insults you to your fatty cheeks. Pathetic."
"Please... please..." Your pleads grow weaker as you fists clench tighter onto your being, hugging yourself; you feel helpless and weak. A small reminder goes off on Vil's phone, telling him to check the time. After leaving money for a toll phone in front of you, he stood up from his chair and begun to walk away.
"Times up… I'm done... Like I would ever want to marry the likes of you. Go call your lawyer, fat pig."
Once the clicking of shoes disappeared, you finally stood up and slowly started to step away from the scene. Steps turned into a walk, from walk to a jog, and naturally, jog turned into a run. None of this was supposed to happen, you were not supposed to be crying, you shouldn't be running away, Vil was not supposed to be so cruel. Yet it did happen, he was that cruel, and you're crying and running through the nearby forest as though your life depended on it. Perhaps your life did depend on it, seeing as you allowed thorns, twigs, and branches to scratch and claw at both your skin and clothes, all while running away from your current reality. It's only when you had tripped over an unearthed root that you came to a halt, crashing down onto the forest floor, whimpering for the putrid shame that overwhelmed you for your very being.
If only the ground could just break open and swallow you whole, then you wouldn't be in the predicament that was about to occur. If only you had called Mr. Χάος, like Schoenheit had told you to, then he wouldn't have heard the soft and distant thump of you hitting the ground. If only you could stop whimpering to yourself in self-hatred, then he wouldn't be able to follow the sounds of your soft weeps. If only you had obeyed direct orders one last time, then he wouldn't have found you.
"Oh goodness! Are you okay?" Through your blurred vision, you see the vague shape of a man with splashes of yellow and blue rushing over to you.
Trying your best to wipe away any tears, dirt, and grime, with a raspy voice and a heavy heart, you answer with, "I'm sorry... yes, I'm fine." Though with tattered clothes, bleeding scratches, and puffy wet eyes, it would be hard to convince anyone that it was true. Slowly helping you up to your feet, the stranger puts your arm around his shoulder and allows you to lean onto him for support as he leads you out of the forest and into safety.
As he begins to aid you at his place of residency, he questions as to what events occurred that led to him finding you so far away from the closest town. As he continued to press for reasons, the floodgates reopened and you recounted that day's events, though you did make sure to not bring up Vil by name, not wanting to tarnish his reputation even now. After the retelling of events, the stranger comforted you with genuine kindness, consoling you with lighthearted banter, getting you to feel mirth and relief, allowing you to welcome the distraction. Whilst exchanging pleasantries, you briefly brought up your desire for a friend, but just before you could move onto a different subject, the stranger asked, "How about we become friends?"
A twinge of guilt courses through you, afraid that you may have put him in a tight spot; you're quick to answer with, "No, you don't have to-"
"Sweetheart, please, I want to, truly!" Pulling out his phone, he's quick to unlock it and pop open an app. "C'mon, let me just add you on-"
"Oh, I'm sorry, but I don't have a social media presence."
"Well in that case, we can just start off by texting each other."
"I apologize, but I also don't own a phone."
"I guess I don't have any other choice..."
Feeling defeated once again, you lowered your head to hide revived tears, making themselves present at the brink of cascading, having already lost your first friend.
"I'm sorry-"
"We'll just have to visit one another as often as possible!"
"What-? I mean, you really don't-"
"Too late~ it's already set-in stone! Instead of going to meet that other man every two weeks, from now on, you'll visit me! In turn, whenever I get a chance, I'll go visit you, Chipmunk~!"
"Chipmunk?"
"Lots of people like to come up with nicknames for their friends as their bonds bring them closer. Since I'm going to be your first real friend, I figured that you would like to already have that kind of bond with me. Start out early so we can grow even closer as time moves on; plus, Chipmunk sounds like a cute and fitting nickname for you, doesn't it?"
Not willing to bite the only hand offering you any semblance of friendship, you nod in agreement instead of offering your discomfort on the matter. Was it normal for people in your generation to advance friendships so quickly?
"Great! Now, to commemorate our first milestone, let's take a picture together~!"
Quickly remembering your parents' rules regarding the public's knowledge of your existence being limited to what they would allow, you try to shut down the action, "I don't think that would be a good idea. I'm not really comfortable with putting myself out there all that much."
"Oh, don't worry! I won't share it with anyone, you can trust me, Chipmunk."
After some personal deliberation, with a light sigh, you situate yourself next to your new friend as he brings you closer with his hand on your shoulder. As the little timer starts to count down, he retorts a clever little joke that makes you genuinely laugh just at the nick of time of the photograph being taken.
"Thank you for becoming my friend-... I'm sorry, I don't think you ever told me your name."
"Oh right, where are my manners, I'm Neige LeBlanche."

“No.”
A clean and clear response to the news of the arranged marriage.
“Son, please-”
“No.”
It was an understandable response from his part, considering the position he was being put in. You, of all people, knew this position all too well seeing as you were being set up at the other end of the contract.
“Mr. Schoenheit, I can understand why you may be upset at the proposition set before you, but you have to understand that this is merely a temporary setup-”
“No.”
Of course, you had objected to the proposition as well, but seeing as how neither of your parents cared enough to even show up and only sent in their lawyers in their stead, your opinion had little to no significance in the matter. When it comes to the entertainment industry, your parents are known legendary icons both in front of the camera and behind the scenes; you could name off every branch in the field, and you would not be able to find a trade your family is not involved in. This betrothment was set up to propel forward Vil Schoenheit’s profession, in association with your family; in return, your parents would receive a son-in-law they could show off to the media and masses.
“Son, you would only need to endure it for four years minimum, plus it wouldn’t start until-”
“I’m not doing it.”
You could not dare yourself to look directly at him from the moment he entered the room; the embarrassment and shame your parents were willing to put you through was humiliating. Even if the contract did go through, you doubted that your parents would even want to include you in whatever endeavors they would share with Vil. They had already begun to shield you from all publicity when you had started gaining weight from a young age, going so far as having you homeschooled; you were not even allowed to have a phone, nor a camera, let alone a social media presence of any sort. Anything and everything the outside world knew about you was limited to what your parents were willing to share; to say you were socially handicapped would be an adequate statement.
“Sir, our clients are willing to cooperate with any demands you inquire. You can be as involved with the engagement as you please; if you don’t want a ceremony, we’ll merely send in the legal documents-”
“There won’t be a need for anything because there is no engagement.”
You can tell that Mister Venue is reaching his wits end, seeing as his son is unwilling to cooperate whatsoever. As anyone could guess, knowing how you were raised, you were never one for confrontations nor arguments; at this point, you do not care whether the contract fell through, you just want the entire thing to be over and to go home. You are not even comfortable in the clothes you are wearing, being forced into commissioned high-end clothes ordered by one of your parents. You wish you could disappear into your “couch potato” threads and wake up from this affair. When it seemed that everything was about to turn into a screaming match, the oldest lawyer on staff and longtime friend of yours, Mr. Χάος, finally spoke up after remaining silent for so long.
“All this arguing back and forth is getting both sides nowhere. Just as much as we wish for Mr. Schoenheit to settle down with the contract, he wants us to cease to exist. It is irresponsible of my colleagues to assume Mr. Schoenheit would automatically agree to the engagement, and for that I apologize on my team’s behalf. However, even you must acknowledge that it would be foolish to turn down such an offer without giving it any thought.”
“Oh please, as if I need-”
“You have big aspirations for yourself and for the future of your career, Mr. Schoenheit, and from what I have gathered from working with my clients for several years now, you have worked exceptionally hard to get to where you are currently at. That much is already very admirable for someone your age; unfortunately, in your line of work, sometimes said hard work is not enough, much less to reach the goals you expect for yourself, even you must recognize that. This engagement is not meant to slight you, Mr. Schoenheit, but to engage you with your goals starting out early, so that you may rise above the expectations you have set for yourself.”
The air surrounding the room is still, everyone, except Vil and Mr. Χάος, was on edge for the conclusion of today’s events. Even now you still could not bring yourself to peek at the face of your supposed fiancé, merely only peeking at his form, and from what you could tell from his still cross armed posture, for as delicate his hands may look, he certainly did take care of his figure. You hold down the slight twist of envy you felt within your heart; that’s the sort of shape your parents had hammered into your mind was best, well-built yet delicate. It’s no wonder you are in such a predicament, your parents probably still crave to have some sort of resemblance of a child they can proudly show off to the spotlight of camera flashes in red carpet events. With no inquisitions coming from the opposing party, Mr. Χάος continued.
“This is my offer: my client is willing to hold off all engagement contracts until you have graduated, for which we will meet again to discuss whether you accept. However, you must build a better association with my client’s child, Y/N, if in the end you decide to accept the engagement, to make the transition easier on you both. For a minimum of an hour, at least once every two weeks, you, Mr. Schoenheit, will make time out of your day to meet with Y/N, and engage in friendly activities. And to make sure you are keeping your end of the deal; I will speak to Y/N at the end of each day to make sure everything went over well. Understood?”
