People love to say they care about people with mental illness, and then disbelieve anyone who has one because they've already passed judgement on them.
People liked the little toque I made for my Furby, so I decided to make tutorial. These will snugly fit your 98 Furby and might (loosely) fit Furby babies, too.
What you will need:
Sewing machine + thread or Needle and thread
Scissors
11 × 6 inch piece of fabric (preferably fleece, but any will work)
A Furby to model for you!
Once you cut your piece of fabric, sew a brim along the bottom (about a half-inch folded), then cut two holes for the ears. Try holding it up to your furby to get an idea of where to cut them and how big. I put mine about 3 inches apart from each other and made the holes large enough so my furby can still wigge his ears.
Then sew around the holes. This is optional, but is good to do if you're using fabric that frays.
Next, fold your fabric in half and sew the sides together on a curve (or whatever shape you want the hat to be). Then trim off the excess, and turn it inside out.
Now put it on your furby! At first it will stick up a little, but thats fine. If you want it to look more like a beanie or toque, anchor the top part with thread or hot glue where the blue dots are in the picture to the right.
Voila! Now your furby is ready for the cold winter months ahead!
Alter the tutorial and change your hat as you please! Make it pointy, add a bauble or buttons, take as much artistic liberty as you like! This is just a simple base.
Though keep in mind-- If you have a 2005 adult/baby, boom or connect, the piece of fabric will probably need to be larger and have differently placed and sized ear holes.
OMfg i was in starbucks and i saw this girl with pink hair and a shirt with an inverted cross on it and i hissed “hipster blogger” and she hissed back because she was actually a snake haha what’s a SNAKe doing in star bucks? i only have 60 followes
i could never work at a mcdonald’s bc i feel like i would just be roleplaying ratatouille. just doing my own thing adding my own seasonings to the food. someone could order a plain cheeseburger and they get like 6 sliders bc i just started hacking it up with a knife bc i felt like it. also there’s tabasco on them. they can’t fire me bc the randomized mcdonald’s ends up being the most popular location ever and every ceo hates my guts but they need me. they get their revenge by only paying me in tuppences but i’m in it for the love of the sport
So! I’ve been sneaking around deviantart for open species since I need the practice.
This is Mock! He’s a Chimeeko, and according to the references I worked from they speak by rattling their heads which is the cutest and most relatable thing. Their age is based around their size, so this dude is probably around 20 or 30 I’d guess. He’s not too long, but he’s long, you know?
I’ll be doing more original species from deviantart in the near future, there’s plenty of really cute ones!
