Being suddenly burried under worms like that... It was enough for Tenkai to snap. They pushed the worms away, creating a barrier to hopefully block the flow of it. “YABUSAME HOULEN ! STOP THAT THIS INSTANT !!” Oooh they were mad. They went up to Yabusame. “Do you know what your role is ??! You seem to have forgotten !! And you should get ready to face the consequences of it !!” Uh-oh... Were they preparing for... a fight maybe ?

“The worms have called out to meeee!” He swayed his arms around. “I summoned them!” Alas… these are just toys. But when Yabusame heard Tenkai call them ‘profanity’, this upset him immensely. “The worms are not a profanity!”

“That’s the Senri Shrine, not the hairy worm shrine ! No summoning here !” Tenkai yelled but didn’t go further. They weren’t worrying about the religious part, Jinbei would probably worry enough for two. “How long did it even take you to summon such a quantity ? Have you forgotten your obligations as a Priest ?! Your work is what allows Mugenri to stand !” Even though Yabusame wasn’t the main priest here… But Tsubakura was already gone and at least he was doing something about that problem.

And here were they, exasperated again. "Yabusame! What is with all these... Hairy worms filling up the Shrine?! Don't you realize you can't bring profanity in such an amount here?" And that wasn't even taking into account the fact he called them melon...

These answers didn’t seem to please Tenkai in the slightest. Tsubakura wasn’t that cooperative and they knew the smug ink drinker wouldn’t be bothered much by a lecture, at least not enough for him to answer their questions. So they’d rather call for Yabusame. “Yabusame Houlen ! Come here this instant!” Damn did they feel like a parent over these two adults… ______________________

Yabusame, on his side, was practically swimming in the worms… until he heard the call. He quickly got over to Tenkai and waved “Melon!! Hello!” Tsubakura simply walked away to go and find how to get rid of all the worms.

3, 9, 13

Scars and painful spots

They have a few small scars from their childhood but these aren't from a major injury.

However, they have a scar on their left side, near their waist, from one fight they had when they were still ruling. Nobody knows if the wound was made by the enemy... or Tsurubami.

Humiliating memories

Tenkai was 4 years old when they first used their barrier power. It was astonishingly powerful, even for the Zuifeng clan's members. So it was only logical that they raised awareness amongst the clan... And mostly from the older children. Some of them did not have bad intentions but it was a bad time overall. Until they managed to control it, Tenkai was terrified of their own power.

What get them flustered

Talking about their relationship with Tsurubami can get them flustered if you point out some specific subjects.

11 and 20

Bad or petty habits :

Tenkai has a tendency not to be able to bear authority which infuriates their superiors, obviously. Hence why they pulled a joke when they were assigned with a menial reparation task.

Tenkai also greatly misses Tsurubami and the time when they ruled together. Nobody knows if it's to regain their power or just because they truly miss their friend but they sure talk about them very, VERY much.

What-ifs/Alternate Timeline :

There's one alternative timeline out there where, after a really unfortunate turn of events, Tenkai finds themselves raising the next Senri Priest, a deaf boy, son of Tsurubami and... Yabusame.

Also there's one where everyone in Mugenri turned really bad (except for Suzumi) and Tenkai is one of the most affected.
