Every canon location exists as they are in Winds of Night. Along with a new location called Emerald City. And no, the city isn't made of Emerald. xD

The location contains a farm and a blood bank on the outskirts, the city itself with all the stores and neighborhoods, and a forest that contains a furnished cave in which Sonic lives. And a very very VERY good distance from the forest and city is Sir Robotnik's manor which sits on a hill...
