Oh, those are some good questions

Though I don’t think Nintendo would have a hard time translating the 3DS controls into Switch controls. For example, for the lack of stylus usage on the Switch you could move the miis around with the left joystick in a similar fashion to the Miitopia switch, even to look through apartments and select island buildings. The circle pad is replaced with the right joystick to look around a mii’s apartment.

For the top screen you mentioned, it could be like how in the Miitopia switch they had a side menu pop up like this in the Inn;

and instead it’s all of the mii’s favorite foods, relationships and gifts.

But yeah, these are just some ideas of what Nintendo could do, but what do I know about coding and importing games lol. I’m still hoping (and by hoping I mean coping) that they give us Tomodachi Life.
