Hate Psychology

I had a conversation with my cousin who came to visit, she is a psychologist (Behavioral Biology). She doesn't know much about anime or the world of ships. She, however; is very open to any subject and I feel confident to talk to her about my tastes. So I asked her what she thought of what was happening with the issue that concerns us. After an hour of explanation:

-About Garou's reaction (I showed her the chapter on the computer)

"The boy (Garou) looks to me more embarrassed than blushing with the situation, he is hunched over and sweating; I would bet this topic is uncomfortable for him" "He changed the topic to a more pleasant one quickly, you can tell by him taking the initiative"

-After getting to the final part, I told her about the hate that was made towards us and this is what she told me:

"Imagine what would have happened if the boy (Garou) had mentioned a man as an idol instead of a woman, and that the same explanation of the ending is that this idol looked like his father…, because the old man (Bang) gave him the option of anyone. Really, the same people who are bothering you and your friends with the apparent confirmed sexuality of that character, would be the same ones who would be shouting that he only feels admiration for that idol and nothing more if were a man"

"It's not about being right, it's about taking the opposite until death"

"Stop stressing about strangers on the internet, you're already 22!"

Peace returned to me, I hope this helps others.

WOW, just wow… I have an idea of who you are, which is weird because I have you blocked. I'm concerned that no one in opm knows what a ship means. I'm really worried that opm was always a toxic fadom and I never found out because I'm in the tumblr comfort zone (reddit and twitter is the worst) If you don't like something just block it, are you 5? One thing is to say you don't like something, you have the right to give your opinion, but that doesn't mean it's important or relevant. But wishing DEATH to someone??? I wonder if your living environment is just as sad as you, in that case I feel A LITTLE sorry for you.
