We are moving to our new format! Below is a list of what you can expect in this change, and we ask that you review the rules of the roleplay to refresh your memory as those are remaining largely the same. Please also check out the OOC and Characters pages so you know who is here and playing. Thank you for all your input as we decided on these changes, and for sticking around with us to try out this new adventure!

Admins will continue to:

Process rentals and claims

Post character biographies for new characters

Monitor starters so no one is posted over

Create and post occasional events

Check for inactive blogs every six weeks

Maintain the main and headmistress blogs as information/update hubs

Players will now:

Post their own new businesses

Post their own off-campus homes

Decide their character's rank in the ranking system

Send point awards/deductions via in-character asks

Send their own gifts through blog submissions

Post their own gossip via in-character anons

Processes that are going away:

Bi-weekly activity checks

Ten replies/month required for a new chara (lowered to 8)

Tracking specific character points/updating rankings

Gossip blog updates

Gift blog updates

We're so proud of how long this little group has stuck in there, and so grateful all of you have stuck with us so long. We know this group is near and dear to all of us, admins and players alike--which is why we need to talk. We're sure you've all noticed, just like we have, that both the dash and applications have slowed down significantly lately, even with events and plot drops. At the same time, all three of the admins are going through some big life changes--most of them good, but still big!--that mean we don't have as much time to manage the main and plan events in the way we wish we could. Unfortunately, we admins simply cannot continue to manage the group in the current format. In the interest of honesty, folks, we are discussing, among other options, closing the group. We are also discussing the possibility of shifting to a more relaxed format. This would mean that, in addition to no more activity warnings, the main & Delphine's blog would serve only as information hubs, players would post their own bios/homes/businesses for the admins to link, and the admins would otherwise only keep the group updated with follows/unfollows and faceclaims. We want to hear from you before we make a decision. We love this group, and if it's time to close, we'd rather end on a high note than drag it out too long, so please be honest. Is the relaxed format described something you would enjoy and participate in? Do you have other thoughts you want to share, or a different idea for a simplified format? Your input is so important to us, so we're asking that everyone--even if you don't have a lot to say--please voice your preference and thoughts in a message or a reply to this post, however you feel comfortable.
