You know how there’s been like this thing with “SU critical” ppl feeling like “man… maybe we were too harsh and completely misread a lot of things the showrunners were trying to do and didnt even remotely understand the animation industry as a whole”…. I feel like that’s what’s going to happen with helluva boss/hazbin hotel a few years from now.

And before you jokers get mad there is a big difference between having thoughts and opinions™️ and general criticisms and being an asshole and a bad faith critic who would not give this same energy to a cis male showrunner who did something u didn’t like. You’re not deep or smarter than everyone for saying you don’t like something, your free to express that but ur not better than someone who likes something that’s “popular” or has any fandom around it.

There IS a way to critique or voice an issue while not being an asshole fyi - also there isn’t always a mustache twisting villain behind every misstep.

the fact that Stardew Valley is a $15 indie game that came out almost a decade ago with zero microtransactions and is still receiving free DLC updates to this day is absolutely bonkers. There are $50-60 AAA games with paid DLC that have come out more recently and aren’t nearly as actively supported or updated.

People really throw out the most serious allegations with such authority when there's never any proof given and any 'proof' is debunked SO quickly. She's not above criticism but calling her all this shit without proof other than 'i saw someone somewhere say it'.

This really has happened consistently with female/queer show runners getting accused of serious shit often with no solid proof or people just REALLY reaching to fit a narrative and cis/white/men who have an actually proven track record of bullshit and abuse never get this same type of energy lol.

Also unfortunately, throwing these words out when looking into it debunks it really quickly, you create a boy-who-cried-wolf situation where it gets harder and harder to take anyone throwing out accusations seriously even if there really IS something happening.

Hey, so a lot of the issues people have with Vivziepop have been proven as false from my own research. A lot of the hate for her actually comes from her being a successful female creator. People make up rumors about her and those rumors end up running rampant.
