I know I kinda left this account to die but hey it’s your fav exmormon account coming back to ask for support for this thing im working on! I’m doing $5 tarot readings on Fiverr after studying it for a while. I have a lot of pretty decks to choose from. I’m keeping the prices low so I can just do it for fun.

Any recommendations for coffee beginners?

Love this question!! Here are some simple drinks you can ask for at a pretty much any coffee shop to figure out what you like. I would start with iced drinks because they tend to taste less bitter. If you like milky drinks, ask for an iced latte! These contain a milk of your choice with shots of espresso. Most locally-owned shops will have specialty lattes with weird flavors to try to stand out, those are always fun! The actual coffee flavor is usually pretty mild.

If you like very sugary drinks, try a blended espresso drink. At scooters they’re called blenders, and at Starbucks they’re called Frappuccinos. They usually taste more like a milkshake than coffee, but if you’re super unsure about the coffee taste I would try these.

If you’re ready for something more strong, try a cold brew. These are supposed to taste less acidic than regular iced coffee, so they can be more mild in some ways. However, the taste is definitely darker than other kinds of coffee usually. I love these, and Starbucks cold foam cold brews are to die for (cold foam is basically fancy, less sugary whipped cream). I recommend those if you like a mix bitterness and sweetness that isn’t overwhelming. Warning: cold brews can have higher caffeine content so watch out!

There’s also Iced coffee with sugar/syrup and cream. A staple! You can adjust the sugar levels and cream amount to your liking. If you’re scared to do a complicated order, it’s easy to just asked for an iced coffee!

Once you know what you like, there are plenty of online resources about at-home machines and what to buy! Simple coffee can sometimes be the best coffee. Plus, Starbucks is expensive. Also, if you like cold brew, you can make your own very cheap, without buying a machine!

Because I could try to explain to my family the complexities of gender and gender expression but what I actually want is to continue to have a family so frankly they can gloss over my appearance changing if it means I don’t have to say the words and possibly lose them.
