Sometimes it can really feel like one bad day away from blowing all of your money on toys but today is not that day. You can't win today impulsive spending.

ngl I keep forgetting that Hobby Lobby is a real store that people go to. That people actually think of it as a craft store and not as a crazy Christian mass artifact smuggler. I google "Hobby Lobby" and get a page full of results that make me go "wtf is this craft supplies and operating hours shit, I thought we all knew this place for smuggling looted cuneiform tablets out of Iraq"

So I just saw a post by a random personal blog that said “don’t follow me if we never even had a conversation before” and?????? Not to be rude but literally what the fuck??????????
I’ve had people (non-pornbots) try to strike conversation out of nowhere in my DMs recently, and now I’m wondering if they were doing that because they wanted to follow me and thought they needed to interact first. I feel compelled to say, just in case, that it’s totally okay to follow this blog (or my side blog, for that matter) even if we’ve never talked before.
Also, I’m legit confused. Is this how follow culture works right now? It was worded like it’s common sense but is that really a thing?

Between Paramount’s endorsement of Israel and the fat jokes from the Cinemacon trailer, the Keanu casting is just another nail in the coffin for this movie.

The tests the Cockroaches go through in season 2 with the Judge are so important and are truly indicative of the whole point of the show. Each person is sent into a situation where they are by themselves, faced with the biggest issues that plagued them on Earth and forced to ask themselves if they truly have improved since their they died, but miraculously, Eleanor's test to focus on her selfishness is mixed with a fake version of Chidi. She already knew as soon as the test started that going to "The Good Place" was the wrong option, but needed to check with Chidi first because in her own words, she owed it to him. There are probably a billion other versions of that test the Judge could have forced Eleanor through, but because it was with Chidi specifically, she succeeded in passing the test, and was the only one to do it. It highlights and focuses on the unique bond Eleanor has made with another human being, despite it being in death, and how it has truly changed her to be a better person. Eleanor, based on her time on Earth, would have EASILY jumped through the portal to go to "The Good Place" even though the voice in her head would've been telling her it was the wrong thing to do, but because she was with Chidi and she had been learning philosophy and ethics like crazy, she knew that there was something wrong and that there is something she needs to figure out. All of this only would've been possible because of her bond with Chidi. Every other test was simple and easy to solve for the others as the Judge pointed out in the evaluation section, but even though Eleanor's was also simple on the surface, it becomes very clear that hers truly tested more than selfishness, but her ability to learn and listen to other people, to create lasting bonds and relationships, and to truly value the livelihoods of other people. Tahani's walk of a million doors does test a lot more than her ability to not care about what others think, but at this point in the story, she truly hasn't grown nearly as much as she needs to in comparison to her deeds in later seasons and Jason also reflects this as his impulsive decision making hasn't changed at all to this point in the story which was a valid concern as his intelligence was never a bad thing, but his inability to think his actions through and understand the consequences was what hurt others. Finally, Chidi being confronted with choosing between two hats really is indicative of how toxic his mindset can be on a person and how it can damage everyone around him. There is so much to be said about this one episode and how it then sets up everything afterward, but I think I'm already tired from a long day and well. Pobodys nerfect!
