I helped some friends move from Idaho to the Oregon coast recently. I got some other great photos, but for privacy reasons I won't be sharing them. I actually got to cook for them too, which was a lot of fun. I have to admit, that was an adventure I'm not going to repeat, everything went sideways until it finally worked out. I hope I never have to drive for 20 hours straight through again - I don't know how nobody died 😅 the things we do for our chosen families can be baffling. I love them, so it's worth it. I hope everything is doing well, its been a while.

How are you coping in today’s world?

I have been avoiding most people when I'm not at work, I don't want to be the reason someone gets really sick and I live in a place with low vaccination rates. I'm fully vaccinated but still have a high risk factor because of a severe D3 deficiency, so I'm also being selfish.

Actions aside and more to the mental aspect: the only thing keeping me from losing it is cannabis. My anxiety meds stopped working and living somewhere I have access to cannabis has been a huge blessing during all of this.

I'm ready for a sense of normalcy to come back, I miss meeting people. I'm ready to be around other people and maybe find someone to spend a lot more time with.
