LOOK AT WHAT MY BEAUTIFUL FRIEND MADE! I have no words for how amazing this is.
This is my first year participating in the Renegade Bindery's Binderary event. The first of my completed projects for the month was Heartbreak Ridge, a M*A*S*H fic by @the-wandering-whumper
I knew I wanted to do the bloody handprint cover for this one and was very pleased with how it turned out.
This was my second attempt at a quarto size, and, despite an argument with the margins, it worked out great, perfect size for this 26k word fic.
I can't personally stomach the extreme ends of whump anymore, but I'm glad that they existed and continue to exist
Examining why I became sad at certain fanfics helped me get around dissociating the second I tried to think of trauma
thanks to all the fanfic writers out there
I haven’t read it through yet so be sure to heed any author warnings before diving in.
Does this fic ring any bells for anyone?
Supernatural fic where Sam and Dean are on a hunt. I’m pretty sure Bobby was in it too, but no John. All I can remember is that Dean is sick (maybe possessed or cursed) and during the big showdown at the end he’s dying and Sam realizes it’s because he’s possessed/cursed and the thing inside him won’t let go. I think I remember Dean trying to cross a salt line or something and gets sicker and sicker. Does that sound familiar to anyone?

Hey there! Sorry to bother you, I was writing something and this doubt came to my mind. How many whump is too much whump? Like how many tropes you think are too much for a story? (Multichapter and onseshot)
You’re no bother at all!
My advice is to write the story you want to write. I don’t care how many tropes there are :) I’m just going to be happy to read whump :)
