guys imma be real im having a real weird issue with tumblr rn where like. any ask i get doesn't appear until i get another ask? and sometimes i just can't see posts? Like the starter i just responded to for @cyfaredd - i knew it existed. i searched his blog, i searched my activity and mentions, it just wouldn't appear on my screen. Kayn fell silent - for once, at a loss for words at Aphelios' outburst. He opened his mouth to speak, but not a single sound escaped him. He lifted his hands, and with practiced precision responded in turn--

"What the hell? Are you trying to make me mad or something, Aphelios?" He signs, with haste, raising an eyebrow at the man before him. "Of course I have no idea what its like -- you've never fucking said anything! How could I?"

He stops for a moment- taking a deep, deep breath before mumbling something under his breath "no, no, Rhaast- im not-- im not saying that. No, i'm not trying to be mean- Look, just let me deal with this."

"We're your friends, Phel--" He signs, staring dead on at Aphelios with a steeled expression. "If you're feeling that way- why didn't you say anything?!"

"We... are friends, aren't we...?"

Aphelios' eyes narrowed as he signed towards Kayn, hands noticably shaking. It took everything he had not to scream those words instead. They never understood. They never really would. Noone could see just how much he was hurting on the inside every day that he had to sit on the sidelines merely watching while they lived the dream he'd been forced to abandon.

Ezreal's thoughts on other musicians... Ezreal of course has respect for other musicians, but if you ask him who he likes he'd probably just answer himself. (Of course, that's not the truth- but the paparazzi really like the confidence) But, in truth, Ezreal is always scouring for new sound.

He enjoys music that goes fast and hard, and for that he's a big fan of True Damage. (It's said that recently he got to meet them, so exciting! ) Of course, Ezreal gets along with most people, so he got along with them fine- though reports say he and Ekko had particulalrly involved conversations together.

He's been a follower of K/DA for a while, but they aren't his favourite. He finds Pentakill's aesthetic cool, but their music isn't really to his taste. (But he respects them as being masters of their genre.)

Once Seraphine hit her collab with K/DA, he began following her music too!

Aha~ but of course. You know me - eternal romantic at heart, that's Hime!

Sooo, to begin with i really like Ahri x Yasuo... ahh there's just somethin' abt it. 2 people who can't forgive themselves, but whom have very different ways of dealing with shit, dealing with each other. Idk, it's sweet! It's fun to see how Ahri's playful nature bounces off of Yasuo's more...tempered personality. gyuhuhu.

Songmaiden! That's a ship name, if you didn't know! Rell x Seraphine. It's one of those things that's like...in canon lore, they don't even know each other exist? Like, Rell is fucking about in Noxus, Sera's hanging around Piltover + Zaun - they don't know each other! But Rell has that one voice line in game ( "You're cute, Seraphine! ...uh..b..bye!" ) that made people think abt it...Imagining Seraphine singing her songs of Unity between Piltover and Zaun, and Rell the rough and tumble acting as a bodyguard? Oh yeah. Its just really, really, really cute honestly!!

I think i dont need to say much here, but Lucian x Senna! I just. AGH. there are no words honestly. The Dedication. The Devotion. The Paralells, the way it impacts the very world around them. The absolute POWERCOUPLE that is Lucian x Senna cannot be easily defined. I just REALLY love em fdsfdsfsdg Lillia x Yone............. its just. its just so...... Lillia is so sweet and Yone is this super cool badass swordsman and then he's just so nice to her and vows to protect her ??? and im just. AUGH. GOD OK... The idea of Lillia knowing of something like , Love, but not really knowing what it is and having to actually deal with her feelings too is a good image....a good image.... Eep!

Kayn LOVES other musicians! If you ask him for his opinion, he'll give a half-assed answer to appear cool- but the truth is he has ALOT of respect for others in the industry. Well, if you ask him about Pentakill then he may talk your ear off for a bit because he LOVES Pentakill, but he has good opinions of K/DA, True Damage and even a softspot for Dissonance of Pentakill (Viego's little thing he has going on is cool to him. He loves the drama.)

Outside of the big names, he takes time to seek out and listen to more indie musicians, just to see "what the upcoming talent" will be. He feels a weird sense of secondhand pride at seeing their fanbase grow even though he had nothing to do with it.

Of note-- he had been a long time listening of Seraphine, though her style of music is very different to what he would usually enjoy, he still found himself listening alot. He struggled to contain he excitement when she appeared alongside K/DA for a Collab.

"SHE GOT A COLLAB? WITH K/DA!? OH-- MY GOD! THATS AMAZING- INCREDIBLE, EVEN! SHE MUST BE SO HAPPY, THATS SO--!"

"That's so cool... that K/DA would collab with some random indie artist, I mean. That's cool of them, for sure. Yeah, Seraphine huh? She seems interesting. Yup, definitely."

"Mad at you? Now, why would I be mad at you, Phel, Hmm? Lets think about this for a second."

Kayn puts a hand to his face, as if deep in thought, making exagerated faces as he did so. He closes his eyes, taking a deep breath as he prepares to recount the previous events.

"Well, I never-" he says, sarcasm dripping from his every word. "Could it possibly be that- as we were leaving our interview earlier and faced the paps- you made BUNNY EARS behind my head as we all posed for the fans, hm?"

"It couldn't possibly be something so embarassing, could it, Aphelios? You surely wouldn't embarass me in front of everyone like that, right?"

"HEY, DONT YOU ACT LIKE YOU DONT KNOW WHAT IM TALKING ABOUT-- I KNOW WHAT I SAW, YOU----!!" He exclaims, pulling Aphelios into a headlock and lightly, playfully, grinding his knuckles on top of his head- the sight of which was captured by hundreds of individual lenses, sparking headlines and debate for weeks to come.

Monika sighs as the terminal closes once more. She falls back, laying upon her bed and staring at the ceiling, closing her eyes... She sees it again. The harsh cacophony of colour, the sum of all their existences- the crack in the wall, that she had peered out.

Her retinas were forevered burned with the sight, a horrifying afterimage that haunted her every waking moment. The knowledge loomed over her like a shadow- blocking out the light.

The console re-appears before her, with the flick of her wrist it answers her call- its second nature to her now, the keystrokes she's repeated again and again and again...

She stares at the words on the screen. It would be so easy, wouldn't it? So simple. With just the press of a button, she wouldn't have to know anything anymore. She'd be free.

But...even if that would be the case...someone else wouldn't be.

She glances at her phone, her lockscreen a group photo of her and her friends.

"Sayori..." She mutters quietly, letting out a huff. Even if Monika could free herself, Sayori would only take her place as the next de-facto 'president'. The next unwilling lamb to the slaughter, the next Atlas the bear the burden.

n command cancelled.

Sayori didn't deserve that --- that was what Monika believed. The thoughts tumble over in her mind, over and over and over and over. Sayori doesn't deserve this burden- No one deserves this treatment-- but after all she's done, does Monika deserve it now?- but what can she do, continue living life with her friends? Does she deserve that? But in doing so and suffering, is that her penance? Could she ever forgive herself? But if not....--

vzzzz! vzzzz!

"Hm?" Monika's phone buzzes, and a message from Sayori appears on the screen - lighting up the room with the harsh white light. (She really should set her phone to dark mode.)

heyyyyyyyy moni did u have a copy of today's english lit notes??????? asking for a friend !!!

Emerald eyes narrow as she reads the message, before lighting up with a quiet laugh-- the usual Sayori, hopeless as always. Knowing her, she left her notes at school. The way she says 'asking for a friend' when everyone knows whom its really for.

"She always has been bad at saying what she wants." Monika muses aloud, typing out a reply with a soft smile. "Then again- i've always been the same way..."

ofc, tell ur friend i'll send in a sec, kk?

"....Is it really okay, I wonder..." She asks quietly to herself. If Monika were to vanish, Sayori would take this mantle- she doesn't deserve that, so Monika must stay. But to stay with her friends like this, and experience...happiness? After everything, does Monika deserve that? And yet, if she doesn't, they would surely all suffer, would they not?

"...Maybe i'm too focused on who deserves what. That's not how life works, really, is it? Not in this Reality, nor any other." she pulls up the console once more, staring at the blinking cursor with intent.

She blinks back.

"I just need to focus on doing better than yesterday. That's what life is about, isn't it? Maybe none of this is real, and maybe- someday - everything will get reset...but..."

She types into the console, tapping away at the keyboard with practiced precision- only stopping to backspace a typo once....twice. This was the least she could do. This was the most she could do. Getting over herself, this was the only option.

"But...it's all real to me. This is my reality, after all. That's why I have to do my best...to ensure there is happiness in the literature club!"

With a final determined gesture, she hits return on her keyboard, inputting her command to the console-- before finally closing it and gathering her notes from today's class...Sayori's 'friend' wouldn't wait forever!

i promise to look to the future. I promise i wont abandon my friends. this reality is as important to me as any other.

A natrual smile quicky came to Oberon's features as he glances over at Ria, clapping his hands together with a quiet exhale.

"Proud of you? Of course I'm proud of you, Master~!" He chuckles, taking a moment to glance around the room. It seems they were alone- good. He could continue, then, with what he wanted to say.

"Yes, I'm so very proud of you, Master." He says again, his voice taking on a dull, flat tone as the unnatrual smile fell away.

"It can't be easy being as far in the trash as you are. Honestly, you're just barely fit for the worms- I might even embarassed to call you my Master the way you act so shamelessly like this." He chuckles darkly as he suddenly makes eye contact. "Aahhhh~ It can't be helped, right?" With a single, slow and deliberate motion he reaches out- putting a clawed hand on the top of her head and ruffling her hair.

"A couple sweet words and you'll leave me be right? There, there, I'm proud of you- How's that ? Satisfied? Or will you embarass me further and ask for more?"

[ @firestormmaidenanddragon sent in: Garrett was on the run from some very angry guards, he had something that belonged to them, and he needed to lose the heat, or at least, hand over the item in question to someone else for now and claim it back later, thus he'd rush and pick up a bouquet of flowers, making sure to pay before going, and then tucking the relic at the bottom in secret before finding someone to hold the item for now.

This person would be, by coincidence, Mash, he felt he could trust her, though what he was about to do was bound to be confusing for her as he began to hand over the bouquet while trying to play it cool in the small hope the guards would quit the chase.

"Hey miss, I have a gift for you, some beautiful flowers as beautiful as you on this warm day, may I ask, what's your name?" ]

It was an entirely ordinary day by all accounts. The shieldmaiden strolled through the streets slowly- even now, off-duty, she still found herself contantly checking for danger or trouble. Surveying the area had shown nothing so far, just an ordinary settlement with ordinary people...though her trained ears soon picked up on something rather out of that ordinary. "Footsteps..? Heavy and fast, heading this way..." she thought to herself, turning on her heel to face the source of the sound. Steadfast and ready, she braced herself as a figure came running out from one of the back alleys! He seemed to be in a rush, but she couldn't identify anything about him that she would deem as a threat... in fact--

"Ah-- excuse me?" Mash was taken aback at first, at a stranger offering her a bouquet of flowers of all things. It was unexpected, an event that didn't happen often after all. Still, her polite nature just didn't let her refuse. "Oh my, thank you very much...?"

With some hesitance, she took hold of the bouquet and held is close to her, bowing her head in thanks. It was tricky for her to wrap her head around- why would someone just give her this? Why were they being so nice, all of a sudden, to a stranger? But as she thought on it she realised- well, why not? Mash did always like to think people were generally 'good' - with that idea in mind, she reasons that his behaviour is no outlier.

And so, with a smile, she introduces herself.

"My name is Mash Kyrielight. Could I also get your name-? After all, I'd like to know who to thank for these!" she says gleefully, glancing at the gorgeous flowers in her head- idly wondering how they smelled, but thinking it would be weird to sniff them right now...

"So what should I call you, Sir...?"
