Hey WWDITS Fandom! Today I realized that I know two energy vampires.

I already had my suspicions, but today I was sure. These vampires are my grandma and my aunt. I've been exhausted since I came back from their house and I want to spend several minutes lying in my bed until I recover the energy that they both sucked out of me while they talked about my body and my hair. I really didn't expect to meet vampires that can be seen during the day, but now I'm going to have to see them more often than I expected.

Does any more experienced fan know how to deal with these types of vampires? I've tried using garlic but they both love it so it didn't work.

Hey crew

As I mentioned here before, I am a person with depression, which means I have a lack of serotonin.

I am also a person with ADHD, which means I tend to have hyperfixations.

Since September 2023, OFMD has been my hyperfixation. I was hoping it would just be a funny show for me to watch and feel better once in a while. But it ended up being much more than that. This show has become my main source of serotonin

I was genuinely moved by the story, I loved joining the fandom, meeting new people, seeing different analyses, headcanons, fanarts. I fell in love with this crew we became.

I already knew that the show could be canceled and I was already preparing for it. I won't say I was surprised by the cancellation announcement, but I'd be lying if I said I wasn't devastated (I cried as I thought about writing those words).

I need to take care of myself for a while. I'm going to go back to taking my medications, I'm going to try to have a healthier routine, and I'm going to be in therapy soon. So I'm going to step away from social media for a while.

In the meantime, if you believe in the small window that still exists to save the show, keep commenting on MAX social media, rewatching seasons 1 and 2, signing the petitions, contributing to the fundraisers, sending emails, letters, and whatever else it takes to get the show saved, a movie made or some other platform buying the show and making a third season.

I believe that if we make enough noise our voices will be heard. We will not surrender without a fight. When my health improves I will come back and join you.

You are the best fandom I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. Good luck crew.

A fuckery?

I saw someone mention that in real life Stede Bonnet and Edward Teach were eventually captured and killed. But that wouldn't be a fair ending to OFMD. So, after killing Ricky, if necessary in the final outcome, they will set up one last fuckery to fake their own death and be able to escape back to the sea.

As their adventure as an inn keepers has already ended and they are comfortable being pirates again, the story will end with them aboard the Revenge going in search of a new adventure with the crew.

Gentlebeard's Wedding

This has been one of the things I see people regretting the most when the cancellation was announced. Therefore, if there is a chance to save the series, they HAVE TO show us Gentlebeard getting married.

I see a lot of fanarts and suggestions of what this wedding could be like. Some suggest that the two of them are wearing fancy suits, others suggest that Ed wear a wedding dress, some want the party to be as well done as Calypso's birthday party, and some are fine with just an impromptu ceremony like Lupete wedding.

Regardless of what it is, I want them to be radiant with happiness and surrounded by the crew that loves them so much. This scene could be in the last episode which would be perfect.

We know they left their antique store behind and returned to the life of pirates. I think at some point Stede Ed and the Revenge crew would find them and ask them to join their crews and fight the enemy of the moment.

They don't need to appear for the entire season, but one episode at least

Another moonlight parallel

I want one last moonlit scene to be a full circle closure between seasons. And I want it to be in the fifth episode. Thus, every fifth episode of each season will have a scene under moonlight.

It could be like I mentioned in previous posts: a dance scene or a proposal scene.

But it needs to be one last scene of Gentlebeard on the ship's deck in the moonlight. And it has to be ridiculously romantic

A Gentlebeard proposal

I feel like Stede would be the one to propose to Ed and Ed would basically melt with happiness.

We know Ed wants to marry Stede more than anything. But he probably thinks that after having an unsuccessful and unhappy marriage with Mary, Stede doesn't want to be married anymore, so he just accepts their life as it is because it's practically a marriage already.

But Stede, who had stated in ep 4 s1 that he abandoned his old life because he was uncomfortable in a married state, will soon understand that he doesn't hate being married but rather hates being married to someone he doesn't love. Therefore, marrying Ed would be something he would do with pleasure.

I imagine that Stede will spend an entire episode trying to plan the perfect proposal, with the perfect ring, he will ask for Izzy/Lucius' help, but there will be some unforeseen events throughout the episode.

He will plan to propose at a romantic lunch, but the food will be burned. He'll plan to propose during an outing in a romantic location, but the crew is tagging along and they won't be able to be alone. He will even lose his wedding ring at some point and feel like a failure. Until Izzy/Lucius will tell him that nothing in life is perfect, so the proposal doesn't need to be perfect either.

At night they will be talking (perhaps on the deck of the ship, under the moonlight), telling each other about their day, saying funny things, Ed will laugh at something he said, Stede will look at the Ed's laugh smiling softly as if he were the most beautiful creature that ever existed and as easy as breathing he will blurt out the question.

Ed initially won't be able to answer because he will be incredulous to hear this, so Stede will explain that he spent all day planning a perfect proposal but nothing is perfect and if he waits for the perfect moment he will wait forever and he doesn't want to wait forever because he loves Ed and Ed is already his “forever”. Then he will ask again. I bet you that Ed will cry with emotion and obviously say yes. I also think he's going to jump into Stede's arms and give him a hug so strong it will make them both fall to the floor laughing. And he's also going to shower Stede's face with kisses.

Lastly, since Stede will have lost the ring, he will use the same piece of twine that Ed placed on the breakfast tray in ep7 s2 and will tie it to Ed's finger to serve as an engagement ring. He will ask "is it alright?" and Ed will respond "This is perfect".

We almost had this at Calypso's Birthday, but they were interrupted by Ned Low. So now I want a proper dance scene. I want them dancing together happy and in love to the sound of a beautiful song. I imagined it could be under moonlight, but if it can be more beautiful than that I'll be happy.

I want some mention that Gentlebeard's inn is haunted by an annoying ghost who calls guests "twat". And later in the season when Izzy returns to life he confirms that it was really him haunting their inn.

I also want him to confirm that a few times he was wandering around the inn and saw things he would rather not have seen between Stede and Ed 🤭

The return of Izzy Hands.

David Jenkins reiterated that there is no version of OFMD without Izzy and randomly tweeted that Buttons is a wizard. This to me sounds like a sign of Izzy's return in s3 and that Buttons is the one who would do it.

I think he would wander through the gravy basket, find Izzy there, bring him back in seagull form, the two of them would return to Revenge and Buttons would tell everyone that that other seagull is Izzy. Some would doubt it, but after Buttons gathers the necessary material he will perform a shape-shifting ritual, Izzy will return to his human form

In addition to kisses, I want to see other types of demonstrations of love. Kisses on the cheek, hugs, soft physical touches, them sitting next to each other and Stede with an arm around Ed's shoulder, pet names like "babe" "you nut" "mate", breakfast in bed but this time it's Stede who brings it to Ed, naps together, dinner dates, even if it's just in the captain's quarter, pleasant conversations as a couple, flirting

I think the main plot of s3 would be them seeking revenge against Ricky and the English Navy, but I want the show to dedicate a few episodes to just showing the daily lives of the crew on Revenge like in s1

These types of episodes serve to bring us closer to the characters, develop them more individually and develop their relationships with each other

I want more episodes that have no connection to the main plot and are just Stede Ed and the crew having the adventure of the day
