HI AGAIN.
It has been a while! Many things have happened. I’m extremely busy with law school and combining it with my politics study is literal HELL. I’m pretty much craving a spa day every 5 days now lmao. On top of that, my mind has been coping with a tragic loss that occurred exactly one year ago today. So yeah, that’s why I’ve been gone for a while.
Don’t be scared tho! I am BACK. <3
Starting tomorrow I will be in the library almost everyday so I will be blogging non-stop about exams and deadlines. I’ll be here so often y’all <3

things i'm looking forward to in autumn
foggy and misty mornings
wet hair and cold hands
walking through crunchy golden and mahogany leaves
cozy blanket forts with books
the excitement of christmas
too many cups of tea to count
being bundled up in coats and scarves and gloves
crispy dewy morning air
re-reading harry potter
listening piano music accompanied by the whisper of rain
putting feet next to the warmth of a heated vent
bright stars and constellations in the autumn night sky
the smell of homemade pumpkin pie in the oven
heavy rainfall pummeling the roof

The internet is a great way for young people interested in political activism to burn themselves out and become disillusionned with the left without ever actually contributing to anything that really exists. The woke online zone has all the downsides of real activism (constantly dealing with obnoxious pedants, the endless stream of people who have no actual investment in achieving left wing goals but stick around for the social aspect/access to young women, constant ideological disputes) with none of the benefits (actually helping anyone in any way whatsoever)

7 Tips for Taking Care of your Mental Health
1. Take care of your physical health as this affects your mental health.
2. Take time-out and give yourself some space. You need to get away from the busyness.
3. Invest time in hobbies and doing things you love. These help you to switch off and get in touch with yourself.
4. Develop an attitude of gratitude as that can help remind you of some good things in your life.
5. If you can, do your best to stay in top of the mess as a tidy room can help you feel less stressed.
6. Have at least one friend you can turn to when you’re down, as we all need someone who we know is there for us.
7. Avoid toxic people who leave you feeling bad. You have a right to establish healthy boundaries.

Hello hello hello everyone! It’s 1pm here and I’ve had the most productive morning I’ve had in weeks! Woke up at 9, had breakkie (not too much), and then I went to the gym. I ran into my boss there, we worked out together - her abs workout killed me... (hadn’t trained my abs in 4 MONTHS OOPS)
Tip; if you have a busy (school)schedule, but you want to keep up doing certain things (like working out), make sure those things are already implemented in your day to day life BEFORE starting school/work/etc again. By doing this, you’re protecting yourself from overworking/stress/burnouts. <333 Take it easy, Rome wasn’t built in 1 day.

As the new academic year starts it’s important to remember that,
grades do NOT define your success and should NOT define your happiness.
Take care of your mental health this year x

I wanna be the type of girl that has cuticle butter on her nightstand. She declutters daily because she doesn’t mindlessly hoard materials. She saved up twenty dollars a week and bought a maribou robe last month just to spoil herself. Her toiletries are from Etsy. She makes her bed in the morning and saunters from room to room in fluffy slippers. Her hair sits high and her inhibitions sit low. She draws her own baths and does her own pedicure. She watches Netflix from the tub, and ends every night with green tea. She may not go out, but she never feels she’s missing out on anything. She gives herself time.
