Becca seriously needed to see this. And also, on the other hand, a lot of people do this without knowing. "I'm sorry for traumadumping/being super negative/etc" and "you are my only support so sometimes I feel like I need to lean on you" are two statements that need to coexist. And if you are guilty of the above "im dealing with a lot" scenarios, know that yes, you do need to apologize, and no, your trauma is not an excuse, but yes, it might be helpful in explaining. Explaining, not excusing is a valuable life skill.
