Faerie Forest: Mushroom Imp

A little imp having a good time playing on the forest floor.

Maybe this is what Yarrow looked like as a baby? I like the idea that she’s a little Fae plant imp that eventually grew really big and people shaped. Maybe she was briefly adopted by a human family (she still does not know how to people)

The Faerie Forest is a place of fractured boundaries and strange visitors.

I finally (got help) slapping Wordpress into shape and Runaway to the Stars is now releasing as a public webcomic! Thank you so much for your support over the years, and sticking with me while I'm slowly chewing my way through this book. I'm very excited to share this story! It'll be updating every Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday thanks to the massive Patreon backlog. Patreon will continue to update as I finish pages, which happens on a sporadic non-schedule.

If you experience bugs with the site report them to me. Some things may occasionally break, as coding problems tend to be a very "whack-a-mole" affair; and I'm still getting used to the interface.

At long last, I’ve finished references for all the major characters in Slug City! This story has been a personal project ongoing for a little over 3 years, so it’s nice to see all these characters together in color. The setting takes place in a sci-fi like world inhabited by soft invertebrate people.

Main Characters: -Gingull: Main protagonist whose face was mutilated by a horrific accident. -Alfin: Gingull’s sibling -King: Gingull and Alfin’s father -Moberry: A mysterious figure who was once the city’s advisor and now runs a secret underground hideaway town -Smooks: A painter and an architect who helped design slug city’s buildings and vehicles -Dr. Walworth: A doctor who worked closely with the city planners who resigned in disgust at Maika’s actions -Delta: A soldier who saved Gingull from a potentially fatal accident. Seeking refuge from the city’s military in secret -Oster: A teenager living with Moberry and the other ex-city officials -Eidwinn: An elderly plant shop owner -Maika: The city’s leader who is no longer concerned with his citizen’s wellfare and instead turned to unethical doings to fulfill his malicious curiosity
