I really do not understand why people enjoy when it’s sunny out. It’s too bright, too hot, you get burned, and it’s harder to drive. And personally I get headaches. So, why do people enjoy it so much?

I only like the sun cuz it makes my hair lighter when im outside in it, lol. Summer's my least favorite holiday so I'm not the person to really ask this. On rare occasion do I appreciate the sun rising and waking up for the day. other than that, i'd rather watch the night sky 😅

Why do people buy fireworks? Seem like a huge waste of money to just light something on fire for 10 seconds on a random street. That stuff ain't cheap, and there's huge potential for property damage and injury.

I dont get it either, and to be real, people setting fireworks off kinda piss me off. I'm around neighbors who blow off fireworks every chance they get, even during the colder seasons. I'll hear them at the oddest times like right after it rains or during another holiday that has nothing to do with them. I later learned it was a cultural thing from a new friend and is related to adrenaline rushes from other sources, but its annoying as it is terrifying to experience in my area- like hearing a gunshot very close by. I'm also not a fan of loud noises or wielding a stick of wild sparks with the potential to burn me so yeah, def not for me.

Imo, people have turned the holiday (referring to the 4th) into an excuse to get drunk and cause mayhem. Like, celebrating freedom doesn't mean you can suddenly commit crimes willy-nilly like its the purge lmfao.

...no? i guess it's diff for everyone but in my experience, I've seen a handful of videos about nail and hair growth that are absurdly long due to never being trimmed.

How does your ocs celebrate Halloween? Do they attend parties, decorate the house, or avoid it altogether?

Selene: She doesn't really do anything different, just some minor changes here and there to her outfits during that week. Like wearing some orange or purple in her normal garb, wallflowering events in an ominous cloak, or walking around with a witch's hat on like it's normal. Aiden: Takes advantage of the holiday to throw an appropriately-themed party to have some shenanigans in costume. Or he sits at his computer munching on sweets while watching the chaos of his Halloween-themed "prank" unfold. there is no in-between. Andrew: He either throws a small shindig himself or is the one attending someone else's. Loves to get his animal friends in on the action of dress, and they are the prime focus of people's pictures in either instance. Would even go trick-or-treating on occasion to show off his and their costumes (and actually ask for candy on behalf of his animals), but would more commonly be the one handing out candy himself while he's hosting a quaint gathering.

if it rains, what do you always do to spend time?

I usually stay inside when I can, and have the urge to sit back and either watch or play something, or start writing or doing some art. it's very calming, though that depends on the intensity of the storm. when it's wilder, my ears tend to pay more attention to it in concern. Regardless, sometimes I get up and watch it for a bit from diff windows.
