all genres + nsfw/sfw are welcome! minors are NOT allowed to participate in this collab as nsfw content is allowed. there is no word limit required for fics or drabbles and headcanons are accepted. artists are included as well if you'd like to participate! the deadline for entries in this collab will be September 22 2024, as that is the final day of summer this year

an important mention -> even though this collab has a deadline please do not stress yourself over it, collabs are meant to be fun lil community things no worries if you have to post your work later!

ocs are welcome as well as reader inserts <3 there is also no character limit for this collab, multiple people can write for the same character

The BG3 Appreci-May-tion Event

Oftentimes, love and support from others means the world to people. Knowing someone else appreciates and values one's work can be an incredible boost for inspiration, motivation, and passion. Yet, sometimes, those works aren't given the love they deserve.

That's why we've decided to make an event to appreciate other fandom creatives!

Using daily prompts for the month of May, we're hosting an event to write or draw for other people's characters. Whether it be a Tav, Durge, OC, or even a reader character set in a specific universe, we're encouraging you to show your love for other creators with some appreciation. Since there are plenty of smaller, less appreciated creatives out there, we do highly encourage you to write or draw for a creator with smaller works - but any works are welcome.

Below, you will find all the prompts for the month, which you can use to create a story or a piece of art. When the day comes for the corresponding prompt, post your work! Please be sure to link to the original fic you're taking from!

truly cannot state enough how much i enjoy how the characters in bg3 look like they’re Actual Adult people. i go wild about it. i’ve never been hornier. cannot empathize with the people who complain about the lines and wrinkles

Because he does bite you. If you're looking at this post, he probably bites you often. And he would very much like Araj to know that he is biting you and not her. And never will be.

There’s a Civilized Biting Club and she ain’t in it.

I just love the dig, the deliberate and pointed disrespect of calling her uncivilized, all while barely looking at her and quite literally waving her away.

Araj, thouroughly and entirely unimpressed by this, as well as unamused. Still trying to send every signal that he is beneath her.

And, largely ignoring him, keeps her attention on you and the dangerous experiment she wants you to complete for her.

NOW he's willing to give her eye contact, as well as every bit of his attention. He needs there to be no possibility of being misunderstood, going so far so to lean in on the "no" of "(s)he/they said no - you should learn the meaning of the word."

IM DONE!! ohhh it’s been so long since I drew comics and to jump right back in with characters I haven’t gotten too used to drawing yet along with elaborate armour was definitely a choice, but it is a choice I’ve made so :’D

can yall imagine the giddiness you'd be feeling if you were with astarion? cause like... i'd never digest it, i just couldn't settle down.

imagine having that gorgeous gorgeous man, so very charming and special and attentive and fun and sweet as your partner. sometimes he seems unreal, an eternal and divine being with starlight in his hair and passion in his eyes. underneath the snarky, flirty, uncaring performance is a person so unique, so enduring, so unfalteringly strong in his persistence. amidst the horror and abuse he didn't go crazy, didn't lose that innocent and yearning spark. you'd look at those vivid and expressive eyes, hear that wavering and genuine voice, feel those tentative and soft hands and you'd be undoubtedly sure of the goodness in him; the goodness within his capability.

imagine looking at a person so deeply precious and knowing he's been hurt and used so much. imagine feeling nauseous at the thought. imagine knowing that despite that he's still brave enough to seek and receive affection and companionship - the things he's never known and yet he has enough courage to trust you to show it to him. you're his first and only experience with softness and boundaries and a person who has never had control of himself has given himself to you - given you the chance to teach him.

you get to look at that inhumanely beautiful person, so very clever and appreciative, and you know that he chose you. he holds you so tightly because you're the first thing he's had. you're the refuge, the kind word and hand he never thought he'd have. sometimes you look at him and get struck with the potential and power in him, and not the materialistic, ugly power. the power that lies within a person who has emerged from agony and given the world a chance to treat him differently instead of giving up entirely.

he's all that and despite his bravado, you know he doesn't see it. you know he feels a phantom rot within himself. you know that he could be the most beautiful person in the world, and he will - with time and love and healing. and you get to watch it happen. and he cherishes every second you spend by his side.
