hi hello i'm just stopping by to say that this is fucking disgusting and any of the people in the notes who found it attractive are too.

this is actually something i've wanted to talk about for a long time so buckle up motherfuckers (tw: sexual assault -in case this gif set isn't already triggering enough for some)

this gif set here is just one of many examples of scenes in the show that were created to be "attractive" with the intentions of saying "lOoK hOw HoT oUr MCs ArE! eVeN tHe MoNsTeRs WaNt ThEm LoL"

i could (and might) make a whole list of times that this happens to both sam and dean. it isn't cute. it isn't funny or attractive. they're literally being assaulted. you can see the extreme discomfort dean is experiencing in these gifs. he does his best to hide it, like he always does, but it's clearly there. several monsters are holding him down, and another is *inappropriately touching* him and humiliating and dehumanizing him.

it doesn't matter if he enjoys similar kinds of physical contact with others in specific settings. in this scenario, he never consented and is being assaulted and in the show and fandom it is played off as a high tension scene created to get fans to like the show more.

i don't think we as a fandom realize that the overabundance of these scenes sprinkled throughout the show are traumatic, violating experiences for the boys. this show really made multiple scenes of their lead characters getting sexually assaulted and it's largely treated as a joke. do better

You know what the difference between Rick Riordan and JK Rowling is? Rick actually made a point to actually include more and more representation in every book he wrote while Jo just pretends like her books have always been more diverse than they actually are. That's why, even a decade after getting into both series, I have more respect for Riordan than I ever will for Rowling

Scripts get published. Destiel proclaimed canon once again. Tumbstone's script draft reveals that destiel content was consciously and with intent written into text and subtext of the show for at least as long as season 12 Spn trends on hellsite yet again.
