Horns that were still quite fresh from a molt, were jabbing and rubbing against the bark of a thick tree. Though, through all his travel across the forest, he had not expected to come across grassy plains that were so golden, and sparse trees in the distance. This land was new to his young eyes, and he had only heard of it through vague tales of whatever his father felt he needed to know; ‘There were beasts unlike any in the forest, and further beyond that, that even Man cowered in fear.’ He remembered the gist of it all, but being a fawn then, he hardly could recall much else. Now, with a goal to expand his horizons, and protect more than just the forest, Bambi set out to explore through the tall grass. There was, in the distance, a tall rocky-structure, and he was certainly curious of it.
