Mondo trasho 3042’s free syrup
Hey y’all, I was rewatching joe’s cartoon and I thought about the free syrup that Donaldo and Marnie chugged. And wanted to see if I could make those flavors, plus I wanted show my favorite French toast recipe!
I’ll be making blueberry, since I do not have matcha on hand.
What you need:
-blueberries (fresh or frozen)
-1/3 cup sugar
-3/4 cup water
-1/2 tbs lemon juice
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-cornstarch slurry (equal parts water & corn starch)
Tumblr media
My favorite french toast recipe (from Alton Brown):
-sliced country loaf bread (dried out)
-1 cup half & half
-2 tbs honey (warmed up)
-1/4 tsp salt
-3 eggs
(Here’s a link for the french toast video here )
1.) you will need to make this the night before,in a liquid measuring cup, add in the half & half, honey, salt and eggs. Gently whisk together until combined. Take a small plate and cover the top of the liquid measuring cup and place in the fridge overnight. (Also make sure you leave about 7 slices of bread out overnight so it can dry out and be stale, it soaks the custard up better like that)
2.) next morning, pre-heat your oven to 375°F
And take out your custard from the fridge and pour it into a cake pan or pie dish. Put two slices of bread into the custard, 30 second each side. Then on a baking tray lined with a cooling rack, place them onto the rack to let them rest. Repeat with the other slices.
3.) in a warm pan, add in a knob of unsalted butter and let it melt and move it around the pan to spread it evenly. Add in the french toast, cook about 2 and a half minutes on each side or until golden brown on each side.
4.) place the french toast on the wire rack and place that into the oven for about 5-6 minutes.
5.) while thats in the oven, were gonna make the blueberry syrup. In a sauce pan at medium-low heat, add in blueberries (i would say about 1 cup), sugar, water & lemon juice. Mix them together and let it start to simmer for a few minutes and then add in the cornstarch slurry, it’ll start to become slightly thick but runny, add in the cinnamon at this point. Take off heat and set aside to cool slightly. Once slightly cooled, pour it in a syrup container. Set aside.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
6.) the french toast should be done, take it out of the oven and place them on plates. Pour the syrup on top or drink it out of the syrup container, enjoy!
Tumblr media
This was fun to make!! Also you can refrigerate the syrup for about 2 weeks.

FOB cake pops (failed attempt)
Hi y’all, so this one is something that slipped my mind until someone on Instagram mentioned it!! ( i’m gonna share this anyway since I want to be transparent about my mistakes and fails when i make something)
This was from an interview in 2013 that Joe and Patrick did, if they got an answer wrong they took a bite of their cakepop!
What you need:
-boxed yellow cake mix
-1/3 cup frosting
-white chocolate melts
-natural food coloring
-cake pop sticks
-marshmallow fondant
Marshmallow fondant:
-1 cup mini marshmallows
-1/4 cup powdered sugar, plus extra to sprinkle
Tumblr media
1.) follow the instructions on the back of the cake mix and bake according to instructions.
2.) once its done baking and cooled fully, put the cake in to larger bowl and start the crumble it. Then once crumbled, add in 1/3 cup of frosting into the crumble cake and mix well with a spatula. It should be crumble slightly but able to pack together in your hand.
Tumblr media
3.) using a cookie scoop or your hand, start forming the cake into balls, roughly the size of a golf ball. Put onto a plate and place in freezer for 1 hour to chill
4.) while thats chilling, we can make the marshmallows fondant which is super easy. In a microwave safe bowl add in about a cup of mini marshmallows, and heat for 30 seconds in the microwave. Take it out and mix with a rubber spatula and it should be sticky, then add in 1/4 cup of powdered sugar into the sticky marshmallows. Mix it into the marshmallows and should start forming together. Onto a work surface, sprinkle some more powder sugar and dump out the marshmallows mixture onto the work surface.
5.) with powder sugar on your hands, start kneading it until its smooth and not sticky anymore. Once kneaded and smooth, set aside with saran wrap onto of it.
Tumblr media
6.) in a microwavable bowl, add the white chocolate candy melts and start with 30 seconds and stir, and repeat until fully melted.
7.) (please google how to make skin tones with food coloring bc im terrible at explaining on what amount) Dip your cake pop stick into the chocolate and stick it into the cake pop that is out of the freezer.
8.) chill in the fridge for 10 minutes, then take them out and fully dip the cake pop into the chocolate. They should set at room temperature.
9.) Add the hair, chill in the fridge until ready to serve, enjoy
Tumblr media
Note: Im gonna be totally honest, i only did two bc i was frustrated and when it was too warm the cake pop fell apart in the chocolate. So i only got two of them done. Please please make sure everything is cool and chilled, including the chocolate so it won’t fall apart!!!

-1/2 cup cheddar cheese (shredded)
1.) to make the biscuits, pre-heat oven to 450°F and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. In a large bowl, whisk in the dry ingredients together. Add in the very cold butter and either use a fork or a pastry cutter to cut the butter into the flour mixture.

Tumblr media
3.) now for the main dish, season your pork chops with the seasoning mixture on both sides. Then on a small plate, add the flour and lightly pat the chops and shake any excess off. They should be lightly coated with the flour.
Tumblr media

7.) serve the porkchop on a plate, topped with the applesauce, and the cheddar drop biscuit on the side. Enjoy!!

Pete’s jalapeño mac n’ cheese 🫑🧀
Hi y’all!! This one is kinda of a reach but it seems like a fun idea.
This was from the zach sang interview, pete was describing about music writing i think (?) (i know i already made a recipe similar, but it was from the box version)
What you need:
-1 1/2 cups corkscrew (or cellentani) pasta
-1 fresh Jalapeño (diced)
-(optional) jarred candied jalapeños
For cheese sauce:
-3 tablespoons unsalted butter
-3 tablespoons flour
-1 1/2 cup milk
-1 cup gouda, hand-shredded
-1 cup Sharp Cheddar, hand-shredded
-1/2 cup Swiss, hand-shredded
For Breadcrumb topping:
-1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
-pinch of salt and pepper
-dried parsley
-Shredded parmesan
-paprika
Tumblr media
1.) in a big pot, boil about 2 cups of water w/ a pint of salt. Once the water starts to boil, add in the noodles for about 9 minutes
Tumblr media
2.) while the noodles are boiling, starting shredding the cheeses into a bowl, the gouda, Sharp Chedder and Swiss. (If you don’t have a cheese grater, then you can use sharp knife and cut it up into small pieces) and put into a bowl, set aside.
Tumblr media
3.) once the noodles are tender, drain the noodles through a strainer and put into a separate bowl, set aside.
4.) to make the cheese sauce, add in the butter into the same pot where you boiled you noodles, once fully melted add in the the flour and immediately start whisking in the flour with the melted butter. Once combined, add in the milk and whisk it together. Then add in the three cheeses and whisk in the cheese until melted and combined.
5.) once the sauce is made, add in the noodles and mixed together with a rubber spatula. When mixed together, add in the diced jalapeño and candied jalapeños & mixed together until incorporated. Then put into a heat proof dish and smooth out the top with a spatula.
Tumblr media
6.) in a separate small bowl, add the panko, pepper, paprika, and shredded parmesan, use a fork to combine them together. Then sprinkle the topping onto the mac n’ cheese.
Tumblr media
7.) put the dish into the oven at 375° for 30 minutes.
8.) serve and enjoy!!
Tumblr media
This was a fun one to make, great for as a side dish at potlucks or a cookout!! (Please tag me if u make this)

Pete’s (mini) Donuts
Hey y’all, hope you’re having a good day!! So today were making donuts!! Pete is known to have a sweet tooth, he almost always post a photo of a box of donuts on his instagram story on Sundays.
Tumblr media
I got the inspiration from this photo and also the photos that Pete takes on his Instagram story!! Not only are we gonna make mini donuts, but some vegan-friendly ones as well!!!
What you need:
-1 1/2 cups AP flour
-3/4 tsp baking powder
-1/4 tsp baking soda
-1/4 tsp salt
-pinch of nutmeg
-10 tbsp unsalted butter (melted)
-1/2 cup granulated sugar
-2 large eggs
-1 tsp vanilla
-1/2 cup milk
For the vegan donuts:
-1 1/2 cups AP flour
-3/4 cup granulated sugar
-2 tsp baking powder
-1/4 tsp salt
-1/2 tsp cinnamon
-1/4 tsp nutmeg
-3/4 cup dairy-free milk
-1 tsp vanilla extract
-2 tsp applesauce
-5 tbsp vegan butter (melted)
Tumblr media
1.) In a muffin pan, use the wrapper of the vegan and non-vegan butter to rub each individual muffin. After greasing the pan, take some tin foil and roll it into a dime-size ball. Put the tin foil ball into the center of each muffin tin, Set aside.
Tumblr media
2.) for the vegan donuts: sift the flour into a mixing bowl and add the sugar, baking powder, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg. Next, add in the non-dairy milk, vanilla, applesauce and melted vegan butter, whisk together to remove any large lumps.
3.) for the normal donuts: mix together the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and nutmeg in a small bowl, set aside. In a larger bowl, whisk together the sugar with the melted butter until well combined. Then add in the eggs one at a time while whisking. Add in the vanilla. Once your liquid ingredients are mixed well, add in the flour a little bit at a time, once you whisked in a little bit of the flour in, pour in the 1/2 cup of milk. Keep adding flour into the batter until its fully incorporated and you don’t have any flour left.
4.) now that both batters are done, get two empty drinking glasses and two gallon size zip lock bags. Put the bags into the glasses at one of the corners of the bag. Once the bags are set up, pour the batter into the bags until almost full. Zip the top of the bag and twist the bag so you can have a steady flow when piping in the batter.
Tumblr media
5.) one at at time, cut the tip off one of the piping bags and start piping into the makeshift donut molds. Fill the bottoms of the tin but not too much to cover the foil. Repeat with the other batter.
Tumblr media
6.) once you fill the tins, put them in the oven for 19 minutes at 350°F.
7.) while those are baking, make a chocolate glaze, take a microwavable bowl and pour in about 6 tablespoons of cream and microwave for 10 seconds to get it warm. Once its slightly warmed, add in 1/4 cup of semi-sweet chocolate morsels. Put it in the microwave again for 15 seconds. Take it out and mix until it is combined with the cream. You should get a smooth glaze. (If its lumpy or not melted, do another 10 seconds)
8.) once they are done baking, let them cool. Once cooled, take them out of the pan and with a toothpick, poke out and remove the tin foil.
9.) once the foil is removed, dip the tops of the donuts into the chocolate and lift it out & onto a plate. You can add whatever toppings, I put a mini pretzel and rainbow sprinkles onto the donuts.
10.) chill in fridge until ready to serve!
Tumblr media
I’m sorry y’all I took forever, I have school still and trying to get time to make recipes. Thank you for the support!!! Please tag me if you make these!!! (Also how many of y’all would be interested in merch? lmk)

Pete’s (boxed) Mac ‘n Cheese
Happy (late) new year y’all! I know I was gonna do something else, but since I’m still working on those, I though I would do something easy that I think everyone would be able to make!!
This comes from an interview that Pete & Patrick did years ago. It was Pete’s favorite childhood food growing up!!
What you need:
-1 boxed mac ‘n cheese (I used three cheese because thats what I had in the pantry)
-unsalted butter
-dairy or non-dairy milk
-sour cream (optional)
-smoked paprika (optional)
Tumblr media
1.) In a small pot, put in water enough to cover the pasta, you can eyeball it if you want, and put it on the stove top. Then add salt, about a pinch.
Tumblr media
2.) turn on the stove onto a medium-low setting to start boiling the water. Based on the instructions on the packaging for the butter, measure it out while the water is boiling. This way the butter is room temperature and easy the combine into the pasta.
3.) once the water starts boiling, add in the pasta and set a timer according to the package instructions. Stir the pasta slightly so its fully submerged into the water. Stir occasionally so it does not stick to the bottom of the pot.
Tumblr media
4.) once the timer is up, pour out the pasta with a strainer into a sink. once all the water is drain, pour it back into the pot and add in the measure out butter and milk. Then add the cheese packet and mix until well combined.
5.) this is totally optional you can skip this step, but I added about 1 tablespoon of sour cream and a few dashes of smoked paprika to add more flavor to the mac n’ cheese.
6.) serve and enjoy
Tumblr media
I know that this isn’t home-cooked, but I do remember Pete saying he liked boxed mac n’ cheese growing up so.
Please tag me if you make this!!!

Thanks y’all!!!
Edit (as of 01-02-21): these are the results of the poll, I’ll do both since it tied. The lobster I’ll do second since lobster is pretty expensive. The Latkes recipe will be out later this week, so keep an eye out!

Pete’s favorite dessert (peanut butter and chocolate) pie
Hi y’all, I know this isn’t specific in which dessert/sweet Pete likes, but he has said he likes peanut butter & chocolate. So since the holidays are coming up, I wanted to do a peanut butter pie w/ a chocolate crust.
What you need:
-1 cup creamy peanut butter
-1/3 cup white sugar
-8 oz whipped topping (e.g. cool whip)
-8 oz cream cheese
Chocolate crust:
-1 package honey maid Chocolate gram crackers (Oreos will work too, I would say about 25 cookies)
-1 stick butter,about 8 tablespoons (unsalted, melted)
Tumblr media
1.) In a food processor, add the 1 package of chocolate gram crackers (you may need to break them in half) and pluse until its about the texture of breadcrumbs. Then with the melted butter, add it into the food processor. Pluse until it comes together, you should be like a sand texture, it should hold its shaped when packed together.
Tumblr media
2.) In a 10-inch pie dish, use non-stick spray or the butter wrapper to line the dish so the crust won’t stick, then add in the chocolate crust and by using a cup or a measuring cup, smush down the crust and against the sides of the pie dish. Make sure its even and tightly packed in. Set aside in freezer until its ready for the filling.
Tumblr media
3.)In a large bowl, add the peanut butter, sugar, and cream cheese. With a hand blender or whisk, mix together. Once combined, add in the whipped topping and use a spatula to fold in the whipped topping until well mixed, don’t over mix.
Tumblr media
4.) take the crust out of the freezer, and adding in the filling. Smooth it out into a even layer. Then put the pie into the freezer for about 3 hours until its solid.
5.) after a few hours, slice and enjoy!
Tumblr media
Its has a strong peanut butter flavor, since theres only a 1/3 cup of sugar, if you want it slightly sweeter then add 1/4 cup of sugar. Make sure to tag if you make this!!!!

Casa vega FOB taco @ home
Hey y’all!!! I was a little worried about making this post bc someone already made a version at home on tiktok, I wholeheartedly give them credit for doing a homemade version at home. (Shoutout to sashikavockrodtprint on tiktok for making it first) and also since people wanted to see how to make it at home based on the straw poll I did. 🌮🌮🌮
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Based on the meat options you can order at casa vega, it pretty much can be vegan or non vegan.
What you need:
-any meat or non meat (shredded chicken, ground beef or soy meat)
-corn tortillas shells
-cool ranch Doritos
-pre-made queso (if you don’t wanna make it homemade)
Homemade queso:
-1 tablespoon salted butter
-1 1/4 teaspoon flour
-1 jalapeño
-1 small tomato
-block of sharp white or yellow cheddar (grated)
-oxacana cheese
-cojita cheese
-1/4 cup of milk
Cilantro Ranch Crema:
-1/4 cup low fat mayo
-1/4 cup sour cream (or non fat greek yogurt)
-1/4 cup milk ( or non-dairy milk)
-1 tablespoon ranch seasoning mix
-1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
-1/4 cup cilantro, finely chopped
-juice of 1/2 lime
Tumblr media
1.) to make the queso, in a saucepan set to a medium low heat, add in the butter to melt. Once fully melted, sprinkle in the flour and using a whisk to make a roux, which will help with making the cheese come together. Once the flour is well mixed into the butter, add in the milk and keep constantly whisking. When the milk is added, start adding the cheeses, you may want to start off with the cheddar first then add the oxacana and cojita cheese, add a little bit at a time and taste for how much you want more oxacana or cojita cheese. Toward the end, you’ll add the diced tomato and jalapeño.
2.) cilantro lime crema is very easy, add all the ingredients into a small bowl and whisk together. You may want to add a tiny bit more milk to make it a little more runny and easy to drizzle onto. Once whisked and mixed well, cover it and put in the fridge until ready to use
Tumblr media
3.) for the meat, it can be however you like it, for me I made pork (carnitas), pre-seasoned but you can season it how you like for the meat. I cooked the meat in a pan until well done, I also cut the meat down into bite size pieces. With ground beef, cook in a pan and make sure to season it however you like and use a wooden spoon or something able to break up the beef into smaller pieces. Same way with chicken, season it however you like, cook into pan until fully cooked and either using two forks or knife to shredded it.
4.) for the shells, i like using the oven for make them crisp. In either a toaster oven or a normal oven, let it pre-heat to 350°. Then with the middle rack, gently place corn tortillas into the shape of a taco shell. It should only take 10 minutes for it to be crispy.
Tumblr media
5.) time to assemble, in the shell add the meat, then queso, then Pico de Gallo, then cilantro lime crema, then finally the cool ranch Doritos.
6.) enjoy :)
Tumblr media
This was a long time for me to get around to this, thank you for being patient!!!! If you make this do tag me please!!!!

Pete’s Philly Cheesesteak
Hey y’all, so today recipe will be a philly cheesesteak, pete wentz style. In the same interview with Andy, pete mentioned how his favorite food is a philly cheesesteak.
What you’ll need:
-package of pre-sliced beef ribeye
-1 white onion
-1 green bell pepper
-sub-style bread (hoagie roll)
-provolone cheese slices
-mayo
Tumblr media
1.) dice the onion and green bell pepper into small pieces, some can be medium sized.
Tumblr media
2.) in a large pan, add in a small amount of canola oil. Then add in the diced onion and bell pepper, seasoned with salt and pepper.
Tumblr media
3.) cook for about 15 minutes, add in a tiny bit of water for it to steam and caramelized the onions. They should soften and caramelized, and the peppers should have a slighted charred to them.
4.) set aside to drain on a lined paper towel plate.
5.)add in the sliced ribeye, seasoned it with salt, pepper and smoked paprika.
Tumblr media
6.)cook until it started to brown, since its super thin it’ll only take a few minutes to cook.
7.)once fully cooked, set aside. Then take a hoagie roll and toasted either in a toaster oven or in a separate pan, toast until it starts to become golden brown.
8.) start to assemble the sandwich, spread a thin amount of mayo (I used kewpie mayo)add the cooked onion and bell pepper, then the meat, and add the provolone.
9.)In a toaster oven (if you have one) set it toast to get the cheese melted. If you do not have a toaster, then put it in the microwave for 15 seconds so it’ll melt.
10.) fold the sandwich in half, and cut it.
Tumblr media
11.) serve and enjoy
This took some effort, but its super delicious.
Please tag me if u make this!!!!
