(I wanted something to sound low-key ominous jsjsjsjs) a close close friend gave me the prompt “try to escape now” (or something sounding like that) and then I thought about the hand drawing trend I saw and then my brain was like boom what if: Jeremy Bradshaw escaping his thoughts, the Bridgewater Triangle monsters and yada yada yada??? So here you are!!

It was a struggle to take pics of my hands in so many angles to make the composition look interesting and also this is my first time trying out acrylic paint markers (which are more like pen brushes and not Poscas!) I had a very limited palette without many dark colours so yeah! (And also funfact I own this brown zip jacket)

Bridgewater x Pokémon crossover with Jeremy Bradshaw 🫶💜

My roommate made me play Pokémon Go again so I’m back in my Pokémon spiral and I made PLENTY of headcanons with Bridgewater and Pokémon together (yes Pokémon has been my specific interest since perhaps I have been 5? And I’m 22 now so YEAH.)

So my main hc that started me spiralling is: Jeremy Bradshaw has had his Lillipup since he was a kid so they both grew old together, so here’s child!Jeremy Bradshaw with his Lillipup, young adult!Jeremy Bradshaw with his Herbier and his old current self with his Stoutland!! And to me his dog has been his bestie since Thomas had disappeared (I tried to express his different eras emotions jdjdjdkd hope I managed to it!!) if I feel like it I will try to go in depth into my crossover, I made our fave trio Pokémon teams!

I know this is very very niche but it makes me super happy <3 (like the My Little Pony x Bridgewater crossover!)

Hello! I absolutely love The Bright Sessions and The Infinite Noise, and I just have to ask you something(s) I've been wondering about regarding Caleb for a while. I don't know if you've already answered this question before, but would he ever get an emotional support animal, and if so, what kind of animal? What would he name it, and do you think it would help him with/manage his empathy or at least his own emotions? And what would Adam think about it? Thank you and I love your work! I'm so glad you love TBS and TIN!!!!! this is a topic that has come up before, though I can't remember when or where (this is exactly the kind of stuff that we talk about on the atypipals discord on the reg) but Caleb loves animals, so I could totally see him having an emotional support animal! he is definitely a dog person but I could see him having all different kinds of support creatures :)

Oh gosh, I do NOT know! But that is probably something I should know--

Okay, I started to answer this but then realized that because patrons and pals get all the episodes in one week, I could just add those run times together (40 files versus 200 lol). This is an under-estimate, because I just added the minutes, not the seconds, but the first forty weeks (week 40 starts monday) add up to 597 minutes. Which is...bonkers to me. Because when you said under three hours I was like "yeah, that sounds right!" and it turns out it's closer to ten. Which is roughly the same length as the first two and a half seasons of The Bright Sessions.

So...one sitting might be unpleasant, unless you've got a loooong road trip planned!

Will we ever get a continuation of The AM Archives, specifically following Jackson and Joan's flirtatious relationship? I love them, and I just finished the show last night, and I'd love to know what happens with them...

I don't know that I've answered this question specifically, but broadly speaking, The Bright Sessions and all its related stories are complete! I'll never say never to anything, life is long, there's always the possibility of a tv adaptation, but in general, the story is done.

in terms of what Jackson and Joan's future holds...that's up to you! I sometimes talk about my personal headcanons or possible outcomes for characters on our pals discord, but I otherwise try to keep my non-canon opinions on the show to myself to leave room for the listeners.

happy birthday!!! :D I absolutely love your work, and have been trying to get better at thanking those who make the content I enjoy this year, so heres an attempt at that that! :]

I discovered the bright sessions last year, listened through it in way too short of a time, and have been listening to everything I can find with your name on it since (I've been using it as a sort of "seal of approval" and its led me to nothing but amazing stories). Seeing someone who's been in the industry for so long and who's so passionate about it is very inspiring, so thank you so much for doing what you do and bringing these stories into the world! :D

#HE IS THE DUMBEST MAN I ALIVE AND I LOVE HIM SO MUCH #911 #911 spoilers #the ally to 'i'm bi' pipeline is soooooo real #the way I had an absolutely visceral reaction to this entire scene #not because of the 'pretending to just be hanging out bc your friend stumbles upon you' thing #but just because - like - the experience of being on your first bi date #the thing of tommy being like 'everyone thinks we're just two guys hanging out' #i remember my first date with a girl sO vividly #and when I went up to the bar to order our drinks I definitely was looking around being like 'does everyone know we're on a date' #'not just hanging out' #in a nervous AND excited way! #she was an accountant at disney lol #and I went to a hozier concert afterwards #(I'm one of those people who always planned something after first date drinks bc Anxiety) #so it was a very LA date lol #and the whole night it was like #!!!!!! I found a ref I really liked and thought that I had to depict them both like that 🥹 (I decided to only keep Vivia as a ship name because I remember it best and otherwise it was too long and on a very arbitrary measure I decided that their hearts for their ship would be ❤️💜 because in my hc Vipin mostly wears his red hoodie and Olivia has a purple strand of hair and enjoys the colour)

June 4th, 1920

My dear Mr. Chambers, 

Apologies first and foremost, or taking such a godawful-ly long time to return to return your letter of the fourteenth of April. Once again, you prove yourself to be an endlessly thoughtful and fastidious person. I feel in utter shambles next to you so often.  But with a  bright new shining decade at our disposal, I’m determined to be more organized. 

An auspicious start, isn’t it? Diving fully into the new decade halfway through its first year. But I’m only just back from my post-war jaunt around the globe—a trip well-earned, I’d say—and I’ve purchased an absolutely absurd estate on Long Island. More rooms and more land than I know what to do with, but I’m sure I’ll find ways of filling it all. After so many years being a respectable, responsible middle aged man, I think I’m due for some foolishness. 

To kick it all off—my triumphant return home, the sparkling nineteen-twenties, my extravagant purchase—I’ve decided to throw the party of this, and any, season. On June 21st, I’ll be hosting an enormous fête for the summer solstice, an occasion I’ve never given much thought to, but which is celebrated all around the world with great aplomb. There will be dancing and eating and libations, both legal and otherwise, and I do think it will be a rollicking good time.  

I would like to have you there. In truth, I’m not certain who will be on the guest list. It’s tricky, isn’t it? Just as you predicted, making and maintaining connection over the decades when we appear the way we do is quite difficult. And with the war and being away for so long after, my social circles have dwindled severely. I’m thinking of inviting my brothers and sister for God’s sake, so please come save my poor dulled soul. 

I know we haven’t seen each other in some time, but there would be something poetic, I think, in meeting again at the halfway point of the year.  I had toyed with the idea of hosting a New Year’s Eve party instead, but the holiday is now so wrapped up in time spent—

Say you’ll come. You can stay the weekend, the week, the month. Just say you’ll come. For now, I am,

Bridgewater characters: rainbow pencil portrait series 🌈🫶

All of the portraits follow my headcanons, Olivia has more piercings than before as I’m following the hc of the wonderful @stillwinchester 🫶

I have discovered a new drawing method I’m particularly loving: the rainbow coloured pencil! And it has been so so so much fun trying it out I’m absolutely loving it!!

I just wanted to add that for the Legend Tripper’s crown, I got inspired by what I learnt in my translation class at uni: women in the 19th century used wear that kind of things called a “bridal crown” which were made out of orange tree flowers and buds, which was very typical to get married and I felt like it gave her a mesmerising aspect which was very much welcomed and to give her an out of time side which truly fits with her character too!
