Added my pin!
I made a map!
If you happen to be Hellenist, Hellenic pagan, Hellenic polytheist, or any other abbreviation of Hellenic faith, please pin yourself on the map! Maybe some of us could find real life buddies around them.
Plus this map is obviously dedicated to Hermes.
It's not on Google map so you won't risk your identity, and you can right anything you want in the title. Place the pin in the general area not your home address of course.

A form of Water Magick: Water Bowls 🪞🌊💖✨
Tumblr media
Get yourself a bowl that you'll want to use for spell work (I use a glass decorative bowl).
Once you find a bowl you resonate with, fill it up with water.
When I fill my bowl I put a pinch of sea salt and a few drops of oil. It depends on what kind of work I'm doing, but my universal oil in spell craft is olive oil. Then, I have a few pieces of quartz and rose quartz I keep in my bowl. Over time, you'll know how you'll want to customize your bowl for spell work, but no matter what I always add in a pinch of sea salt. Salt in water creates electrolytes, which holds/stores energy/intentions/electricity (Sea Salt represents the ocean for me also).
After you create your water bowl, you can pray your intentions into it as you please until the bowl dries up.
The alternative is if you're feeling specific with your intentions, you can take a small piece of paper and write your intentions onto it. When you're done writing your intentions, you place it into your water bowl.
Whether you pray or write your intentions into your water bowl, you have to wait for the bowl to dry up. Once the bowl is dried, it means your intentions are set into the universe. This means you've charged the water with your intentions and it evaporated into the universe and it is at work.
If you decided to write your intentions, you can do as you please with it.
With my written intentions I'll burn it, place it into a mason jar filled with water and herbs (if I want the spell to continue), bury it, or get creative in however you'd like to continue your ritual.
Then, clean your bowl and crystals (if any), refill, and keep the energy flowing!
I have grown to love working with water in all my spell work to where I even use mirrors as my magickal tool (mirrors are the water element which is for another post in the near future lol).
My typical water bowl is: water, my tumbled crystals, a pinch of sea salt, and a few drops of olive oil. I typically focus my intentions into my bowl. I may light candles to add power, or hold onto one of my larger crystals to amplify my energy.
Water holds memory and shapes to our emotions and thoughts. It's an intuitive element and shapes to our wants and needs.
If there are any other Water Witches like myself, I hope you enjoy this method of spell work!

hi!! im a baby witch and a life guard, i like to wear my crystals but i know many of them are sensitive to salt water, do you have any recommendations for crystals i can wear at work?
Hello oh-annaa!
Wow that is super cool that you are a life guard 😁
There is many crystals that can go in water, but you have to be careful as some can't go into salt water as the sea salt degrades the crystal over time.
I find a lot of quartz crystals are fine in water and salt water such as clear quartz, rose quartz and smokey quartz for example.
Amethyst and moonstone are some other great crystals that can go into the water as well.
There are many crystals that can go in water but again if you research some just make sure they can go into salt water as well to be safe 😊
I hope this helps!

Self-love 💕
Hello lovelies !💖
I hope everyone is well and safe, today I'll be talking about self-love and ways to achieve self-love.
Self-love is a big part of witchcraft and spirituality.
There is also a big difference between self-love and vanity, they are sometimes confused for the same thing but they are completely different.
Self-love is a sense of calm with yourself, excepting who you are and excepting your flaws.
It's all about trusting yourself, knowing that you could be right or you could be wrong, but excepting that fate.
Ways to start excepting and loving yourself can be done in different ways.
Shadow work can be a good start for self-love and exceptance.
Meditation can be great for clearing the mind free of doubt of yourself.
If religious; prayer and religious paths can bring comfort to some people and can help find your true self.
Everyday rituals, taking a walk/jog, swimming, planting fresh flowers/plants or relaxing in the garden or a park.
Taking up a hobby just for yourself, for example; cooking, baking, gardening, crafting, painting etc.
Most important, taking time for yourself. Helping others and thinking and friends and family is a great humane thing, but taking time for yourself is also a crucial thing to do.

Update
Hey lovelies, it's been a while.
Tumblr media
I just wanted to let my followers on here know what's going on and why I haven't been on here in a good while.
I stopped being/posting on here basically cause I find it toxic at times, and it was just not helping my mental health at all.
Of course not everyone on here sends out toxicity, some people are absolutely lovely.
Tumblr media
So I won't be posting much on here anymore, maybe the odd reblog here and there.
If I do post it probably won't be much, but you never know I might have a change of heart. 😁
But for now I will be mainly posting on Amino and a little on Instagram which I'll put on the end of this post.
At the moment my life has been all over the place, I still practice witchcraft and I'm still a Polytheist.
I've made some dietary changes, I'm now pescatarian, I eat no meat and the only animal I eat is fish. It was a personal choice, mainly for health and diet problems but also to try out a different lifestyle. It is going great so far.
So that's a little update about myself and my current status on here.
So yeah, I'm just basically saying I'm still alive. And I hope everyone has a great weekend. 💖

Hail Hygieia! May she stand with our transgender brothers & sisters (including non-binary people 😊) 💚💙💜❤🧡💛
She has no tolerance for Terfs or hateful people.
I just wanna say
watching the Hellenic community come together to rally against TERFs using the name of our Goddess as their new codename has been really encouraging.
Fuck TERFs and their twisted ideals.  You had better believe that taking Her name and twisting it like this will have consequences.
To all the trans people within the community; I promise you, Hygieia LOVES you, and doesn’t see you as dirty or anything else that these people would have you believe. Please don’t listen to them.

Visiting the Theoi at Heraklion Museum.
Tumblr media
Hello lovelies!💚🌿
Last week I visited the archaeology museum in Heraklion (Kreta), it was AMAZING to say the least and would recommend to anyone with a strong curiosity or interest in archaeology.
But what I loved the most was seeing the statues of the Theoi which were made for them millions of years ago.
Tumblr media
I felt very connected and safe if you will, it was just truly wonderful and getting these pictures meant the most to me on this trip.

Prayer for Lady Persephone & Lord Haides
As you reunite with your husband Lord Ἁιδης son of Ρεα; at the hours of darkness, daughter of Δημητηρ. May your reunion be celebrated and cherished for those who reside in the underworld. Queen and King high on thrones, may judgement lead us who seek you so.
May you both bless us with respect for those who have passed, and watch over those we have lost. Lord and Lady I respect you, I welcome Lady Περσεφονη back to her ruling and give respect to Lady Δημητηρ, who let's her daughter rule each years end.
Bless me Lord and Lady, for your light to guide me through these times of dismay and distress.
Hail Ἁιδης and Περσεφονη.

🌿Thought of the day🌿
Since I've started practicing my diving in the sea (As I can't take actual diving lessons yet due to Covid-19) I've felt like I've felt closer to Poseidon (and Amphitrite).
Theres something truly wonderful about connecting with sea deities (or water deities) through swimming and diving in the ocean.
I am doing diving to boost my skills and as a student Archaeologist, I want to cover quite a few different types of ground for my CV.
It feels like more of a devotion to Poseidon right now and I am hoping to keep going.
May the Theoi bless you today & stay safe 💙💙

Learning about actual sailing has been interesting. I picked up a few books on the basics and I'm slowly working my way through them. A good friend of mine sails log canoes in the Chesapeake Bay and this has helped me understand some of the things he talks about. It's also helping me understand where I want my craft to go. I've loved sailing and old tall ships since I was a kid, so bringing that side of my love of the sea into my practice over the past month has brought me so much joy! I'm especially interested in learning common sailing knots as a form of sea magic. Hopefully I can post some of what I've learned soon, once I tidy up my notes.
Safe Sailing, y'all!

As a student Archaeologist and Bio-Anthropologist this is a bit of a weird diet for us modern Homosapien's, obviously you could try it but it probably wouldn't be the exact same. And if it was the exact same your stomach will take a long time processing this different diet.
And paleo, means prehistoric so caveman era, most Pagan religions stem from ancient beliefs which is after prehistoric.😊 But I know where you are coming from.
paleo diets don’t exist. you will never have the nutritional range of a caveman. your jaw and teeth have already been permanently weakened from eating soft breads your whole life and never tanning an animal hide with your bare teeth. a neanderthal would beat your ass

Thólos beach in Crete (Greece) I'm over visiting my grandparents who live there.
I have a massive connection to the sea, and unfortunately where I currently live is in a town, so it is nice to be so close for a change. I also felt so close to the sea deities, mainly Poseidon and Amphitrite. 💙💚💙💚

Hello @dahlia-jade,
It does make sense (to me at least) , the stories or 'myths' are very old and is normally seen to teach lessons rather than taken word for word.
Zeus, Poseidon, Hades and other gods and goddesses throughout the media of our time have been translated into these 'evil' or 'disgusting' deities. Which came down to monotheist religions making them look that way to convert people.
It's very sad really, and can really upset me when some idiotic people criticize the gods I worship and my beliefs. But that is natural I guess.
Anyway I definitely agree with your reply 😊 Hope you have a lovely day!💙

⭐Something that needs to be said. Because I'm seeing it a lot recently.⭐
So I have addressed this on my tiktok account also, mainly for confused baby Witches and fellow Pagans.
It is something that I sometimes find myself being ethier creeped out by or just plain frustrated with.
Deities are not human.
Please do not humanize deities.
I know they are presented in media and artwork as human, but they are not.
Because I am devoted to the deities Haides and Poseidon I get asked the same question a lot. And I can imagine other Pagans, Polytheists and people who worship ancient Gods get asked this a lot too. 'How can you worship and devote yourself to a god that apparently raped and killed people in the myths?'
Simple. They are not human, the myths are there to teach us lessons. (Some myths have been or are also mis-translated) I obviously don't condemn abuse or harm of any kind. But they're Gods they are not supposed to be looked at as if they are a human making mistakes. What they do the myths is wrong yes, but they are higher beings, ancient spirits.
Another thing, the gods aren't your boyfriend, girlfriend or your lover.
Deities care, but don't care THAT much.
People who claim any spirits whether it is deities, fae, demons or passed souls are in love with them or having s*x with, obviously are not.
I hate to upset or hurt anyone but this is the hard truth 😔.
It needed to be said because some are getting so caught up in it or confused that they are spreading mis-information about those deities or spirits to younger worshipers or witches.
I would also like to hear other people's thoughts on this subject.
I think it can be a very tough subject to explain to younger Pagans and people who have caught themselves up in the thought of a deity being in 'love' with them.
💙As always I wish you all to stay safe and have a lovely day.💙
