Peaceful Trip
A Valentine's Day Story
Tumblr media
Pairing : Nanami x Reader
Tumblr media
You were lying down, your eyes closed. All you heard was the sound of the waves and of the birds. It was heaven on Earth, just like Nanami said it would be. You took a deep breath as you heard the sweet footsteps of your husband.
It had been more than five years since what had been called the Shibuya Incident. That day, you learned that your boyfriend was a liar. He lied about most things about him.
That day, you learned that your boyfriend was a dreamer. That he dreamed of peace, of heaven. Of holidays. That his protective side, his sweetness came from something far away from what you ever imagined. There was something more about him, something unexpected. Something beautiful.
"Don't you think it's beautiful ?" he asked.
His deep voice was soothing to you.
"The most beautiful view on Earth."
You turned to him with a smile. He was so beautiful, in his swimsuit, ready to lay down next to you. The only reminder of the incident was the burn scar on his face. He told you back then that he knew someone who could heal anything, but this never did. He said that this scar was more than just a physical wound. You never knew what he meant by this. That day, he told you everything. He explained how he went back for the students' future, how he got heavily injured, and how his thoughts went to you as he thought he was dying.
He told you about his regrets, about what he wanted to create with you. That's when you decided you would be here for him for as long as you were alive. You realized after that day that he was the love of your life.
You both left everything behind for a new life, far away from everything. A blind man sometimes came to visit, but he was the only one who knew where you both lived. You didn't talk to him much, but you knew how much he mattered to your boyfriend, even when he was brushing it off.
"What are you talking about ?" he asked, as he laid down next to you.
It was all beautiful. And it was your every day.
"Happy Valentine's Day", he whispered to your ear.
You smiled. You didn't know what date it was.
"I bought chocolate for you."
He kissed you sweetly on the cheek. You could feel his smile on your skin.
"Do you wanna go back inside and eat them together ?" you asked.
The truth was that you didn't need anything special on Valentine's Day. You didn't need anything more than your husband.
You spent most of the time lying down, next to him, reading a book or drawing. You would sometimes paint the landscape. Life was beautiful here. You knew it would be beautiful anywhere as long as you had Nanami. But the way he looked so peaceful in here was worth leaving everything behind.
Now he was free.
Now he was happy.

Anonymous letter
A Valentine's Day Story
Tumblr media
Pairing : Kenma x Reader
Tumblr media
"Dear Y/N,
I like you. There's no need to beat around the bush since it's Valentine's Day and I'm gifting you chocolate. Thank you for being as nice and positive as you are, it always makes my day better.
P.S. : there's no need for me to sign this letter because I'm only telling you that I like you, I'm not asking you to like me back."
And that was it. No hint, nothing. You had no idea who was this person. You stared at the handwriting for hours, and couldn't even figure out if it was someone you knew. You guessed it was someone you knew at least a little, seeing how you apparently made his day better. The thought made you laugh a little. How could you make someone's day better just by... existing ?
But you couldn't laugh too hard. After all, someone made your day better just by existing. But there was no way you would've gifted him chocolate for Valentine's Day.
Kenma just wasn't the type. You had spent the whole day with him, and he never asked once. Even when Kuroo asked you, he didn't seem interested. You tried to avoid answering the question all day until you just couldn't. So you lied.
"No, I didn't get anything", you said. "Did you ?"
He paused for a while, frowning his eyebrows. But he still answered :
"Of course. The ladies love me."
After a while, he asked again :
"So you really didn't get anything ?"
You shook your head. After all, that "anonymous sender" could've been a prank. You would never know.
"Even if I did", you added. "I wouldn't have kept them."
Finally, Kenma raised his head and looked at you.
"Why ?"
"Because I'm not interested. I'll just throw them away."
You didn't mean the last part. Whether you felt the same thing, someone had the courage to tell you how they felt for you. That was more than you could do. But you just didn't want to talk about chocolate and Valentine's Day anymore.
"You threw away my chocolate ?" you heard.
You turned to Kenma. He was pouting, as he avoided your gaze.
"It was you ?" you asked, confused.
He didn't say anything, as he walked faster to keep a distance between you. You couldn't see his face anymore. You turned to Kuroo, who was looking in the opposite direction. And then you realized.
They were both in on it.
"So it was a prank ?"
Nobody answered. You ran to Kenma.
"Why would you do that ?"
He looked back at you. His piercing gaze froze you.
"Wasn't the letter clear enough ?"
You didn't know what to answer. You didn't know what to do. You couldn't say anything. What if it was not a prank ? What if he really liked you ? What if...
"I was not pranking you," he said.
Then, he whispered :
"But you threw them away."
You quickly grabbed his hand as he turned away.
"I didn't !"
You opened your bag, showing him the chocolate box. You saw how his eyes lit up and you looked away, embarrassed. You thought about the letter again. It really looked like you were making his day better, just now. Just like he did.
"I was going to eat them, I swear."
"Then why did you say you wouldn't ?"
Your heart clenched. You wanted to say the words but all you could do was admire him for being able to do what you couldn't.
"I had my reasons", you just whispered.
You caught a glimpse of a smile on his face as you started to walk again.
"You know", he said after a while. "Gifting chocolate isn't really my thing."
You laughed.
"I know. That's why I didn't gift you any."
"What did you say ?"
You didn't answer. You weren't ready yet. Still, you grabbed his hand as he silently walked you home. You would have a lot of talking to do when Valentine's Day is over. But right now, all that mattered was that he liked you and you liked him too.

Extra Work
Pairing : Bakugou x Reader
(It's a cute side story of this if you're interested)
Tumblr media
You knew how hard he was working. You could tell when he was coming back after training. He was exhausted. There was nothing you could do to help him, all you could do was follow him around.
He was still in training to be a hero but he was already yours. You were training too, just a year after him. Yet, the gap between the two of you was enormous. He already had the skills and experience to be a professional. You wanted to work with him in the future. He had barely glanced in your direction, he didn't even know you. You supposed that he was getting used to it, to you. You had been following him around for two months now. It was your dream to train with him, to work with him. But you still had to get stronger, little by little, just like he had done and was still doing.
It was easy for people to say he was just born to be a hero. But you saw Bakugou's hard work. It was craved on his arms, with little scars from his quirk. You wondered how he felt the first time. Was it scary ? People probably had found it cool, but wasn't it scary to know that he could simply throw an explosion at first ?
You surely found it cool. He was focused, training at dawn. Every day, he would train to get better. When did it start ? Why ? You wanted to know. You wanted to ask, but you felt like it wasn't the right time. You couldn't face him, not now, not until you were stronger, worthy to be by his side.
He had seen you train before. He had seen you fight. But you knew that it wasn't enough yet. So you needed to observe. To look at him, about how he handled his quirk, how he handled situations. It was like he was everywhere, like he could see everything.
You knew that he probably had trained in secret even before he was accepted in UA. This kind of skill wasn't built in just a year. He seemed to know a lot about his quirk and about himself.
Suddenly, he turned around. He was still mid-air but his eyes met yours. Stern, focused, you saw him aim toward you.
Shit.
You felt his laser fly right next to you. You looked behind. He had hit a dummy. He was far enough to make a mistake. In a real-life situation, you could have been a civilian, and the dummy could have been a villain. In a real-life situation, he would have saved you.
He walked toward you. This time, only you were looking at him. He walked past you, as if you weren't there. Your head dropped. It was to be expected. You were so excited to see him train that you had walked too closed and ruined his training session.
"You dumbass can't even look behind your back," he suddenly said.
You turned around. He still wasn't looking at you but you could tell he was talking to you when he said :
"It's your weak point."
Your eyes finally met his and you looked away. He sure was intimidating. But he had seen you fight, seem you train. And he was giving you advice now. He was acknowledging you. You heard him walk away.
"I wanna be your sidekick !"
He stopped. You had screamed it in the forest before thinking. It seemed to be echoed to the whole world to hear. Now, it was real.
"You can't even watch your back, how will you watch mine ?"
"I'll work harder."
Just like he was doing. That was what you admired in him. His hard work. It made people so jealous that they had to call it a gift. But you knew. You saw how hard he worked every day to be the man he was. The hero he was.
"Get to work then."
You would be his sidekick one day. You were sure about it.

Bad Day
Pairing : Kuroo x Reader
Scenario : You suddenly start to put some distance between you and your boyfriend. Did you simply have a bad day ? Or is it something more ?
Tumblr media
The bed was painfully large. He hated that you weren't with him. You had been sleeping in the guest room for almost a week now. Nowhere how hard he tried, he couldn't fix it. There was nothing to fix. Everything had been fine until one day.
"I'm gonna sleep in the guest room tonight," you suddenly said.
His heart skipped a beat when he heard that.
"Did I do something wrong ?"
You shook your head as you said :
"I just need some time alone. I'll be back soon."
You hadn't since then. Nothing really changed between the two of you. You had been spending time together, as usual. And yet, he couldn't help but notice your tone and your eyes. You looked tired. Sad. He wondered what went wrong, why your change seemed to be sudden. It couldn't be. This sort of uneasiness didn't appear in just one day. He had missed the signs. He didn't pay enough attention. And now, he was not what you needed. Worse, you needed to be away from him. It was so bad that you couldn't sleep in the same bed.
He walked to the guest room. The door was closed but the light was still on. He knocked. You didn't answer.
"Y/N ?"
You didn't say anything. He heard your steps going toward the door but he didn't say anything. Maybe you didn't want to talk.
You opened the door. Your eyes met his and you smiled. It didn't reached your ears like usual and your eyes weren't as bright as before.
"Is there something wrong ?" you asked.
You thought you could fool him. You wanted to. You were going to be fine. Not now, but soon. You didn't know exactly when but you wanted him to still be there when you would. That was why you didn't want him to see you sad.
"Tell me what's wrong, Y/N."
His eyes were just like yours. The one you were seeing you were seeing when you looked in the mirror.
Exhausted, worried.
You couldn't keep doing that to him. You took him by the hand and led him to the bed. You took a deep breath. It wasn't easy to admit.
"I don't know what's wrong with me."
He gently caressed your hand, encouraging you to continue.
"You make me happy but I'm sad and I don't know why."
Your vision became blurry and your voice was shaking. You never said that to anybody. It was sometimes like this. Like you were empty.
"I feel empty and I don't know how to fix it."
You sobbed as he took you in his arms.
"I don't want you to think that you did anything wrong. It'll pass, I promise."
He held you tighter. He heard you sniff as you forced yourself to stop crying.
"I'm fine, I just had a bad day."
He felt you shaking in his arms. You looked so fragile, like you were about to break into pieces. You were not fine. You needed help. It wasn't just a bad day.
"It's not true, Y/N, and you know it."
You started to cry again. You could hide it but you couldn't stop it.
"And I'll be here even if you're not fine. Even if it's not just a bad day."
You were holding his shirt so tight that he thought you were going to tear it.
"I don't want you to think that I'm not the person you fell in love with anymore. I wanna stay funny and happy."
His heart ached. He wondered how long you had been keeping your sadness from him. He wondered if he had ever known you happy.
"I love you no matter what and I want you to know that I'll be here even if you're not ok. You don't have to hide this from me."
You stated silent for a moment, your body still shaking. Suddenly, he heard you take a deep breath.
"I'm not ok," he heard you say. "I need help."
You looked up to him, with red and puffy eyes.
"Can you help me ?"
He kissed your forehead and answered :
"Always."
Tumblr media
Hey ! I feel like I've been away for a while... I started writing this when I wasn't feeling good (take care of your mental health because once it's here it's never really gone). Anyway, I hope you liked it ! Have a good day !

Tomorrow
Pairing : Tsukishima x Reader
Tumblr media
"Kei !" he heard a scream behind him.
He sighed. He heard you run to him.
"What's wrong ?" he asked.
You had a wide smile on your face when you said :
"Nothing ! Can't I just talk to you ?"
He hummed but didn't really answer. He never did. It was almost as if you were talking to a statue. He had almost nothing to say to you. People thought the two of you were good friends, seeing that he never told you to leave. But it wasn't always enough for you. He could tell. He was too silent.
You were still talking about your day. He wanted to say something but it was like you couldn't stop talking. He didn't even know what he wanted to say. Just something, anything, actual words, coming out of his mouth for once. It was better than what he had been doing so far. Until now, you had guessed that he didn't hate you because he never pushed you away. But he didn't want you to think that you didn't hate him, he wanted you to know that he liked you. You were nice and funny, and you always had something interesting to say. But it wasn't like he could say just that, could he ?
The two of you sat on a bench.
"I have a cake, do you want some ?"
"No," he only answered.
He saw you pout. It was barely visible like you were trying to hide your disappointment. You quickly smiled at him. You were good at hiding your feelings. But not good enough.
"OK," he finally said. "Just a little."
You smiled. He took a small part in his hand. It was very small, but he truly wasn't hungry. He put the cake in his mouth.
"The things I'd do for Y/N," he thought.
He hated that he was weak for you. But when he saw your smile as you asked how the cake tasted, he didn't regret it. He was just waiting. Hoping you would confess because he couldn't do it first.
"Kei, is something wrong ?"
He shook his head, the cake still in his mouth.
He didn't have anything to say to you. He could tell you that he like and then what ? Ask you on a date ? What would he say ? How could he make you stay ?
He felt a finger on his cheek. He turned to you. You had a frown on your face.
"Something's wrong," you said.
He sighed. There was nothing he could hide from you. He knew that he bore an expressionless face most of the time. Yet, you could see right through him. There were only a few people who could do that. And among them, you were the only one...
"You don't wanna tell me ?"
He looked away. If he did, what would happen next ?
"It's fine if you don't want to. Maybe you'll find an answer to your problem tomorrow."
You had a big smile on your face. You were quietly eating your cake. You were rarely silent but right now, it felt right.
"Tomorrow," he said.
You looked at him with a frown.
"I'll tell you tomorrow."
He didn't know what would happen next. You could reject him or accept him, but it didn't really matter. It wasn't like it mattered anyway. The way you felt didn't change how he did. Nothing would.
"Ok then," you said. "Tomorrow."
Tumblr media
Hey ! I hope you had a great day and I hoped you liked it (even if it's a bit short). I wanted to post something today since it's been a while...

Closing Wounds
Pairing : Shigaraki x Reader
Previous Part
Tumblr media
You were mindlessly staring at your empty fridge. You needed to do something about it tomorrow. You walked to your bedroom and stared at the ceiling. It had been more than a year since the incident. Since Tomura Shigaraki, a man that wasn't really your friend or even someone you knew killed two people in front of you. Since that day, you never saw him again. But you heard about him. Apparently, he wasn't just a homeless young man society wronged. He was a sadist. You heard from some people you treated that attacking and killing people was his nature. And you couldn't deny it. You saw it. You could still remember his mischievous smile. It had haunted every single one of your nights. You had been having nightmares ever since. Curiously, never once had you dreamed about him killing you. It was like he could never. But you knew it was possible. You just couldn't imagine him doing this to you.
You sighed as you went to lie down on your bed. You stopped your side job soon after the incident. People sometimes came by but you never opened the door. You stopped because it was too dangerous. You could have died that day. Instead, you had to clean up two people's ashes.
You suddenly heard a knock on your front door. You hadn't in a month. You sat up and looked through the peephole. You didn't recognize them. It was a young girl and a man. It felt like you had seen them somewhere but definitely not here. You rolled your eyes, ready to ignore them when you heard :
"Are you sure Tomura said it was here ?"
You froze. You haven't heard of him in a year. Never saw anyone who personally knew him. Until now, it seemed. You opened the door.
"Who are you ?" you asked.
"Tomura said you were his friend."
It didn't answer your question but you still let them in.
"Do you have cake ?" the man asked.
He looked nice but you frowned. How did he know you used to make cake ?
You shook your head.
"He said you were a doctor who didn't ask questions," the young girl said.
She was smiling at you and it scared you a little. But you couldn't hide your bitterness.
"If Tomura was still around, he'd know I'm not a doctor anymore and I'm gonna ask one question."
The girl's smile grew wider. For a moment, you hesitated. You knew he was trouble. You knew you were better off without him. But just because he wasn't around didn't mean you weren't bounded to him. He was all you could think about.
"Where is Tomura ?"
"We can take you to him," the young girl said.
You froze, surprised. You had thought about seeing him again for so long.
"You can ?" you asked.
She nodded like it was nothing. She had no idea how important it was to you. You looked at the young girl's shoulder. It was a deep cut but it wasn't too bad. She wasn't a bad kid, you thought. You wondered what led her to be on that side. Once you fixed her shoulder, she made you follow her into a small alley. The kind you wouldn't go willingly if it wasn't for him. You were getting into the villains' side. She opened a back door.
"You're back," you heard once you got in.
The voice took your breath away. His voice. It had been a year since you heard it and it was a little bit different from what you remembered but the way you felt was the same. He looked up and his eyes finally met yours. None of you spoke for a moment. You just took a look at his face. He looked tired. His hair seemed longer.
"Hi," you finally said.
He hummed, still staring at you. You guessed he didn't suddenly become talkative since the last time you met.
"Why are you here ?" he asked you.
"I'm here for you."
His face didn't show any emotion. He wasn't curious about you, he wasn't happy to see you. Maybe you were the only one.
"I thought I'd say you need a friend, so I'd be here for you, but you already have friends. Then I figured I'd say you need a doctor, but Himiko said you already have one. So I have no other reason to be here other than you."
He sighed.
"Then you should leave."
He turned around. He couldn't look at you. Not when he tried his best to forget about you.
"I won't," he heard you say.
He clenched his fists. He was always angry. At the world, at the system, and now at you too.
"I don't want to go."
He hated you for being so naive. He couldn't stop his anger from overflowing when he turned towards you. You jumped from how sudden his movements were and that made him even angrier. He walked to you and put his fingers around your neck. Four out of five.
"I'm one finger away to kill you."
He stared at you. The look you had on your face was different from the last time. Still, you remained different from him, innocent. You were still scared.
"I know you won't kill me."
"But you're still scared."
You didn't answer and he let you go. You didn't stop looking at him like you were scared he would disappear. He couldn't help thinking he didn't deserve this.
"That's why you have no reason to be here," he said.
You slowly raised your arm and touched his cheek. He didn't flinch like the last time. He didn't move at all. It had been a while since anybody touched him so... affectionately. He couldn't even tell when was the last time it happened. He closed his eyes. It felt warm, different from anything he had felt before.
It was something he could never have. All he had known was hate and destruction, and that was all he had been set to know.
"Can't I be here just because I want to be with you ?" you asked.
He opened his eyes and met yours, who seemed to be begging to accept you.
"And then what ? Are you gonna be a villain too ?"
You frowned. You didn't think this far. You had all the time in the world and you didn't think about what would happen next.
"What about your studies ? And your family ?"
The reality hit you.
"And your friends ?" he added. "Your life ?"
The two of you were from two different worlds. You wouldn't be able to be in those two worlds, you would have to choose. You had to leave everything and everybody you knew behind. Forever.
For him.
"What if I drop it all ?" you asked.
Your voice was smaller than usual. He smiled. It was different from the one you saw that day. He looked innocent. For the first time, it looked like the two of you were part of the same world. You could see in his eyes that he too, wondered how it would have been if you had met under different circumstances. If you didn't open the door that day.
"I won't let you."
His smile disappeared and his eyes grew cold.
"That's why you need to go home, Y/N."
Your vision got blurry. You didn't want to cry in front of him. You had been waiting to see him. Wondering how he was, where he was. He was doing well, as well as a villain could do. He had people around him, people like him, people who could understand him.
"If I do," you said. "Will you come to visit from time to time ?"
He didn't move. He didn't answer. You sighed. You never thought you would see him again, so even if it was one last time, you were happy to see he was ok. You turned around to leave the room.
"Maybe I will," you heard him say.
You smiled as you walked away. It wasn't totally over yet.

Pairing : Bakugou x Reader
Previous Part / Next Part
Tumblr media
It was almost embarrassing, how Bakugou made you hold his arm to walk around the hospital. You were just right outside, but it felt like you were actually going somewhere. He acted like it. He was obviously nervous, probably because you were getting out of the hospital the next day. You hadn't told him yet but he already knew. He wanted you to tell him, and he wanted to pretend he didn't know about it. He wasn't ready to see you leave the hospital. He knew it was silly, you were fine now and it was your health, but he couldn't help but feel... uneasy. He knew you would get mad at him if you knew everything that was going on in his mind. He had to admit, seeing you hurt did something to him. Something that he might never be able to undo. It planted a seed in his heart. Fear could only grow until it would take up too much space.
He looked at a bench not to far from them.
"No," you already said before he even spoke. "I'm not tired."
He sighed.
"You know, I'm fine. I'm getting out tomorrow morning."
"Really ?" he said. He cursed in his mind, it sounded so unnatural. "Well, I'll be there."
You smiled at him.
"You don't need to."
"I know."
You were walking faster than him, even if he was the one who was supposed to help you. It was like he was trying to keep you from going too fast.
You slowly walked back to your room. Bakugou stayed by the door as you sat down on your bed. The sun was already setting. He was about to go back home.
"Do you need anything ?" he asked.
You shook your head. He was spending most of his time here, and you knew he was only going home because you asked him to.
"I'll be back tomorrow," he said.
Soon, you were alone. Being alone wasn't a problem, but at the hospital, you became lonely really fast. Bakugou had a fair amount of trips to the hospital. It was never really long but you wondered if he was lonely too.
Morning came quickly. You had barely slept. You were going home. It was your only thought since you woke up.
"You're free to go," the nurse said when you got back from your test.
Finally. You would finally go back home to your bed. You would take a good time to rest and then, you would finally go back to work.
"About the clothes you came with...."
You knew what the nurse was trying to tell you. Your suit was too damaged to be worn again. You would definitely need to fix this before getting back to work.
Soon, you thought.
"We can lend you clothes to go home if you want."
That's when you heard a knock on the door. You tried not to be too happy to see Bakugou. You knew that the way your heart would skip a beat every time you saw him was strange. But you didn't want to think about it.
"I came with clothes," he said. "I figured you'd need some."
You couldn't help but smile. He was your savior. Quite literally. You looked at the clothes. They were new. You smiled.
It was quite a comforting thought to know that he was there for you. Ever since you got there until you got out. You said goodbye to the nurses and doctors who had been with you the whole time, thanking them.
As you got out, Bakugou led you to his car. You didn't know he could drive until then. There used to be a time when you wanted to know everything about him. Back in high school, you used to follow him around just to know how he became such a great hero.
You got into his car.
When you thought about it, he had been inspiring you ever since.
"Thank you," you suddenly said. "I'm really happy we're partners."
"Don't talk like you're dying," he just said.
There was a moment of silence. You were just looking at him while he was just looking in front of himself. Then, he turned to you and asked :
"Where do you live ?"
He felt his face getting hotter in embarrassment. He offered to drive you home without even knowing where he had to go. After all this time, he still had no idea. The line between your professional and your private life was so clear it hurt.
He was silent the whole drive. You, on the other hand, didn't stop talking. You couldn't, not since you got your voice back. He liked it. He learned a little bit more about you, not too much, but it was enough. You were laughing when you got out of the car. He didn't know why you looked so happy. He guessed you didn't have any reason to be happy, you just were. After all, you almost...
When he stopped the car, the two of you got out of it and walked to your apartment. You slowly opened the door. Your eyes were almost closing even if it was still morning. He guessed it was more than just physical exhaustion.
"Get in," you said mindlessly.
He hesitated but still obeyed.
"I'm sorry," you suddenly said. "I'll clean up a little."
It was almost amusing how stressed you were due to his mere presence in your apartment. You weren't cleaning, you barely had anything to clean and yet you were almost running around.
He grabbed you by the arm, turning you around and forcing you to look at him in the eyes. You immediately froze.
"I'll go," he said. "You rest."
A part of him liked that he was making you nervous, but he didn't like seeing you that nervous when you were just discharged from the hospital.
He didn't even let you object and left right away. He closed the door behind him. And froze. You were right inside and yet, that feeling still wasn't going away. He sighed.
You were home. You were fine.
Everything was fine now.

part 2 of First Christmas (Choso x reader) where reader used to babysit Yuuji when he was little?
idk what the details would be, but it would be so cute if Choso got jealous of the both of them. since he didn’t get to know Yuuji as a kid, he’s jealous of the reader having been able to meet and play with a little Yuuji; and jealous of Yuuji bc now the reader is doting on Yuuji (+ the other little brothers)💕
(feel free to ignore if you’re not into the idea, heh)
Hey ! First of all, I'm so sorry I'm writing it this late... I actually rewrote it 4 times before settling to this. I hope you're still gonna like it ! I actually loved the idea but I didn't know how to put down everything in words... here it is ! Have a good day !

Closer
Pairing : Choso x Reader
It is for the anonymous reader's very nice request !
Tumblr media
He didn't like this. He did... but he didn't. You were smiling at his little brother and laughing with him. He was happy that you and his family got along so well but still...
"Do you need a tutor ?" you asked.
Yuuji sighed. He was sitting on the couch right next to you. He was very close to you, like he was about to hug you. He looked like a little kid right now. The two of you have known each other for a long time. When he was a little kid, you were his babysitter and his tutor. It was natural for you to be that close to him.
"I don't need it," Yuuji said. "It's just a one-time mistake."
You ruffled his hair with a grin.
"OK, but I'm here if you need help."
Choso was looking at the two of you. He knew what it was about. He was jealous. There was no need to deny it. But he couldn't quite tell of who. He was jealous of you. You were closer to his brother than he could ever be. Yuuji and him weren't close at all. He regretted that he rarely saw him smile and then he never smiled at him. He didn’t really like his older brother, everybody could tell. The only moment when he would tolerate him was when you were there.
"He's a teen," you had said. "He'll come around later."
He was still waiting. He guessed it wouldn't happen anytime soon. In the meantime, Yuuji had you. So he couldn't interfere. Even if his heart ached a little.
Your eyes met his. You smiled at him. He smiled back before walking away to the kitchen. It was almost time for dinner anyway. He looked into the fridge and the drawers, wondering what he would cook tonight. Maybe he would go to a store nearby, to clear his head. He finally let out a long sigh.
"Are you tired ?" he heard behind him.
He turned around to see you by the door. You entered the kitchen.
"I'm fine," he said.
It wasn't really a lie. He had no reason not to be fine. You were happy and he was too. He walked to you and buried his face in your neck. He wanted to get closer to you, closer than anybody else. You hugged him and he hugged you back. He held you tight. He didn't want to let you go.
"Should we just order something ?" you asked.
You could tell your boyfriend wasn't in his right mind.
"We're doing good, right ?" he suddenly asked, not answering you.
You pulled away from him to look at him in the eyes. He wanted to kiss you. You looked so sweet, so pure and your smile was so reassuring. He knew he had no reason to ask that. But he needed you to say it.
"We're doing great," you said.
You took his hands.
"I was jealous," he admitted.
You let out a small laugh and you said :
"I noticed. You've been pouting all day."
He thought he had been able to hide it well. He didn't want to make you uncomfortable and he wasn't even sure what it all meant. Why was he jealous ? Why was his heart heavy with uneasiness and sadness when he looked at the two of you ? He loved you, he knew it. It was too early to voice it, but he knew. When you started your relationship, you agreed that it would be serious. He didn't want to start a relationship that wouldn't last and confuse his family. His brothers only had him and they were his top priority. He knew he would drop anything for them. Anybody. He didn't want to have this kind of relationship with you. He wanted you to be part of the family.
And now that you were, Choso was... insecure.
You kissed his cheek. He felt your smile when you did. He pulled you closer and kissed you. As he pulled you for a hug, he looked behind you. He saw Yuuji, looking at the two of you with a small smile. Choso met his brother's smiling eyes before he walked away.
"You and Yuuji are close," he said.
You hummed. It was like he could feel your heart beat. Or was it his that was pounding in his ears?
"But he's still your brother even if it's hard right now," you said. "I know you that you want to be close to him and I'm sorry you're not there yet."
He cleared his throat and looked at you in the eyes.
"That's not the only thing."
You looked at him, confused. He suddenly turned red right in front of you.
"I wanna be the closest to you."
Your eyes grew wide as you let out a small :
"Oh."
He finally looked away, too embarrassed. Even his ears were red. You couldn't help but snort when you realized when he meant.
"You already are," you simply said.
Like magic, all those insecurities went away. It was like you were the only cure that eased his pain.
"Who can be closer than you when we sleep in the same bed ?"
He kissed your forehead.
"Should you just move in here so I can be closer to you everyday ?" he asked.
You laughed again.
"Let's talk about it in a few months."

Silent Wounds
Pairing : Shigaraki x Reader
Next Part
Tumblr media
There was something wrong with the man you had been treating. He always came to your clinic badly hurt, only asked for a few band-aids and would leave after a little conversation. He acted like a young man but his face was wrinkled. You didn't know if it was due to age, exhaustion, his quirk or all of that at the same time.
You weren't a real doctor, you just knew one at a young age, and he taught you everything he knew. The "clinic" was simply a room in your apartment. It didn't matter whether you were a true doctor or not, you were the only one who treated them without asking questions or asking for money. Nobody else would treat villains like this. Like they were humans.
You hated the hero society. It made people irresponsible, always waiting for heroes to handle things anybody could. You knew that villains were more than thieves, murderers. They were more than just a danger to society. They had stories, they might have had a hard time that led them to have this life. You knew that heroes wouldn't be able to reach them so you thought that maybe you could.
You, the ordinary civilians who happened to have medical skills and a bit of free time.
"What is it ?" the man in front of you asked.
Shigaraki Tomura. That's how he told you was called. You thought that maybe he was lying. A lot of people didn't want to give you their name because it made them vulnerable. He was pointing at a pile of papers in a corner of the room.
"Just stuff I study," you answered.
Having a conversation with him was virtually impossible, as he didn't seem like the talkative type. Maybe he was with other people. Did he even have other people ? It really didn't look like it. You suspected he came here to eat rather than to have his wounds treated. Since the first time you offered him a slice of cake, he often came by. Sometimes he was just pretending to be hurt. You noticed but you didn't say anything.
"Med school ?" he asked.
"Art," you reply. "If I ever become a real doctor, it'll be hard for me to treat people like you."
He hummed. While he never bore any expression on his face, you could tell that he was somehow enjoying his time with you. Or else he wouldn't be coming back, right ?
Strangely enough, you wanted to know more about this man.
"When do villains sleep ?" you asked.
He looked up at you, silently.
"Well, you do your villain activities during the day and sometimes at night, and you also come here at night. So when do you sleep ?"
He shrugged.
"I usually sleep at dawn."
You suddenly heard someone knock on the front door. You sat up and suddenly stretched your arms. You were holding your neck. Looking at you like that, he could see how exhausted you were. He wondered... if you had to go to class during the day and help them at night, when did you sleep ?
"I'll be right back," you said.
He sat up immediately.
"I should go," he said.
You saw him walk away and tried to grab him by the hand. As he felt you touch him, he stumbled away screaming :
"Watch out !"
You took a step back too. You remembered that he didn't seem to like being touched. You apologized to him.
"Please stay here at least to finish your slice of cake."
He looked away. You didn't know what he was thinking. You only knew what he was willing to tell you, and it was almost nothing. You didn't even know what crimes he had committed to be coming to you instead of a regular hospital.
"I'll be back as soon as I can," you said as you walked to the front door. You closed the curtain behind you, to hide his presence from the people you would welcome. Villains tended to be jumpy if they knew someone else was there and Tomura was always silent anyway. Nobody would know.
You opened the door. Two men got into your apartment. One of them had blood of his shoulder, clearly from a cut. As always, you wondered what happened. As always, you didn't ask. You sat the injured man and turned over to look for what you needed. When you opened the drawer, you felt something cold touching your neck.
"Don't move," the villain said.
You obeyed. It wasn't the first time villains were robbing you.
"Please," you said, but without any conviction.
It used to happen all the time when you started. With time, they understood it wasn't gonna benefit them long term and they stopped. Those men clearly didn't get the memo.
You sighed. All your meds were stolen. You had stolen them. It was easy to replace one box when you had given it to someone. Replacing everything would definitely be harder. It would be harder for you not to get caught. One box missing is a mistake, twenty is suspect. You might had to close for a few weeks. You couldn't have that.
You turned around slowly.
"If you move, I'll kill you."
You watched as the other man was putting all sort of stuff into his bag.
"Please don't take everything," you asked again.
The man hit you in the face. You fell down, knocking the chair. Your cheek was hot, like burning. You couldn't defend yourself.
You heard the curtain open. You looked behind the robbers. He was like a shadow. You barely saw him coming. But then, you saw one man disappear. Only ashes were left. You looked at him doing the same to the other man.
Strangely, knowing he killed those man wasn't terrifying. The most terrifying was how wide his smile was while doing it.
Tomura.
You wanted to call his name. But deep down, you knew. And he did too when he saw your eyes. You didn't move, you didn't speak. But he could see that you were scared of him.
It hurt.
He didn't really know you but he enjoyed being with you. He knew you knew it too, and it felt like you were accepting him. He was a villain. The two of you were from two different worlds. But he loved how you made him feel... human.
You were something he wanted to protect. Someone he wanted to love. He thought it might be possible. It was a foolish dream. One that would never come true.
He saw that in your eyes.
"I'm sorry," he just said when he left.

I am still alive and well. I will be back soon (meaning next week probably), I just need to finish a (very annoying) paper due to this Friday. I'm publishing my first research in an actual journal so I'm very focused on that.
It'll be done by Friday and then... finally......
