God damn, i mean need i say more?
The OG 80’s outcasts paird with the OG outcast song.
Both have such strong beliefs about the meaninglessness of high school ‘society’ And have gone to rather extreeme means to escape interaction with their peers, in very diff ways may i add.
The song is also… violent and rock and roll to say the least which fits the vibe of both franchises respectively. The tone is unapologetically emo and punk with a huge dollop of nostalgia even if they aren’t from the same era. (Late 80’s v 2000’s).
Certain lyrics sound straight outa JD’s mouth to the point where i genuinely considered copy-pasting the entire first verse in:

The Moss- By Cosmo Sheldrake
A beautiful song based around the obscure folklore of the world, just like how Snuffkin travels around their world.
It doesn’t have a particular emotion attached to it except for the feeling of freedom from society. That magical vibe of simply wondering without the fear that you are lost.
It feels very independent and wise.
A travellers song for sure. Like someone you could make friends with but not someone you could understand easily.
The harmonies and obscure/minimal instrumentation are slightly sinister or mysterious to listen to but the song (and snuffkin) kind of proves there is beauty in those things.
2# Harley Quinn (After her break up with the Joker: Birds Of Prey, Animated Series, Suicide Squad 2)
‘Lotta Tru Crime’ by Penelope Scott.
The attitude towards particularly male serial killers who take advantage of young, particularly, women is so real between these two.
Harley regrets how she felt toward Mr J and her solo franchise and this song are huge middle finger to the serial killers and their young ‘fandoms’ who idolise and are attracted to those people.
The swearing, the voice cracks and tit bits, the crazy laughter near the end just all screams quinn and her violent tendencies.
Hello, i am very new to tumblr. Like i’ve had it for a while but never rly used it that much so this is my first real THING on here lol.
Currently mildly obsessed with character theme songs, like songs that are nothing to do with a Character (in cannon) but that really give the vibes of their situation and stuff.
So i’m gonna do one whenever i feel it for some of my fav characters and see what happens. Feel free to message if u got any ideas 💡
1# Jinx 💣 💜 from Arcane, League of Legends.
‘Other Friends’ From Steven Universe ⭐️ 🌈
youtube
I personally think the more dubsteppy, poppy covers maybe fit the vibe a little bit more since they are more chaotic but Other Friends freakin slaps when u apply it to Jinx.
Its about her going mad and turning into a phycopath with a very similar juxtapositional vibe to Jinxs, because she feels her best friend in the world left her.
The pink/purple/black cutesy yet murderous vibe continues into this song with some admitly vauge lyrics that you can easily atribute to Jinx torturing people to get what she wants due to her sisters abandonment. (Plus they both use machines of their own development)
The song is funky and stretchy but terrifying in and out of context.
And on that morning, all of Venice awoke to see the tower of everlasting night make its way swiftly across the ocean. Within the tower, they all knew, was the English Magician: Johnathan Strange.
Here we go fellas, I bring you another fandom I'm fixated upon! :D Love me a scruffy academic slowly losing their mind in pursuit of knowledge.
