All praise be to God, Who responds to me whenever I pray to Him, even though I am slow to respond when He calls on me; On Whom I depend on and seek help from, for if I were to depend on anyone else, they would certainly disappoint me;
All praise be to God, Who seeks my friendship while He certainly has no need for me; Who shows gentleness and love towards me as if I have not sinned, though He is fully aware of my shameful deeds.
How could I not sing His praises and recite His glorification! He Who has been ever Merciful towards me!
— Du'a ʾAbū Ḥamza al-Thumālī (دعاء أبي حمزة الثمالي)

Every night during the holy month of Ramadhan, God, the Blessed and the Exalted, calls out three times: “Is there anyone who seeks from Me so that I may grant them their wish? Is there anyone who returns to Me in repentance so that I may turn to them in Mercy? Is there anyone who seeks forgiveness from Me so that I may forgive them?”
— Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, Mustadrak al-Wasaail, vol. 7, pg. 429

“When you stand in front of me and look at me, what do you know of the griefs that are in me and what do I know of yours. And if I were to cast myself down before you and weep and tell you, what more would you know about me than you know about hell when someone tells you it is hot and dreadful? For that reason alone we human beings ought to stand before one another as reverently, as reflectively, as lovingly, as we would before the entrance to Hell.”

Because I never believed in time, and i always miss past moments, faded memories, burnt-out feelings, broken promises and old versions of people who went astray from the roads we drew together.
