Are you named after anyone? - no thank god. i almost got named layla after the eric clapton song. dodged that bullet only to then live in the worst timeline to be named karen

When was the last time you cried? - several months ago when one of my good friends had to have her cat put down. i am not a big crier it makes me feel physically miserable so i avoid it at all costs.

Do you have kids? - god forbid

What sports do you play/have you played? - i've played tennis but i am bad at it as i am bad at all sports

Do you use sarcasm? - constantly

What is the first thing you notice about people? - i try to zero in on some Defining Feature or Characteristic i can use to easily identify them in the future bc i'm just a touch faceblind

What’s your eye color? - blue

Scary movies or happy endings? - happy endings but bc i'm a sap. i don't find scary movies scary. my grandmother was really into them so i joke that i have a genetic immunity lol

Where were you born? - i was born in and will likely die in memphis

What are your hobbies? - writing, reading, wandering around the botanic garden, piano, lurking around antique malls

Do you have any pets? - i have a little black cat who has circus music where his brain is supposed to be

Favorite subject in school? - english, with french a close second

Anyway I was in an Autism evaluation last week bc I don’t have my original diagnosis on paper and they were asking me “common knowledge” questions and one of them was “who wrote Hamlet” and for some godforsaken reason I heard “Hamilton” so I said, “the book or the musical?” And the doctor said “there’s….a musical?” And we both stared at each other for forty-five seconds while I opened up my “past dialogue” log in my brain and loaded in “Hamlet”
