Aww thank you so much!! Here is the post i made for the preorder of the shirts! It's the design (lesbian version) i drew based on the vivienne westwood two cowboys shirt that mac wore in iasip! you might have missed it bc of the mature label that i put on the post, because of the nudity portrayed on the shirt! :')

ok not look like an absolute madman that I in fact am and to make a long story short

Are you perhaps a user on Spotify that made an almost 14 hour long Re-animator movie playlist? I found it on Spotify yesterday and was like "who created this?" but knew that searching for Spotify users is a lost cause so I just let it go and just vibed with the playlist (so far its really good I enjoy the vibes)

But now we are today. As a silly guy I am I went on Pinterest to look through fanart and other stuff like that and I saw a drawing of (soon to be known by me) yours. One of your followers I suppose commented with your Tumblr nick and went "credit vins" and then it clicked... Did the person that made that Re-animator playlist had the username vin??? I checked it and I was right.

So now as a curious creature I am I came in into your ask box to ask if my theory is right and how long did it take you to make it cuz almost 14 hours of music is pretty impressive and from what I saw its pretty much picked with a thought in mind and not just random stuff.

So if you aren't the same person and its a coincidence then I apologise but if not im going to scream and wonder about how small this world is and how lucky of a guy I am :3

hi!! I love your art sm and I was wondering: are you self taught or like, an art student? I ask bc you have such a good grasp on color theory and composition and I’m like,,, did they teach themselves that ??

Ah well i am mostly self taught! although i did learn a lot from others, just not in a normal school setting (i actually was known for beefing with my art teachers quite a lot fhsjbfjsbc).

I'm a practical learner, i try stuff out and keep what i like, but i think on that way sycra on YouTube has helped a lot in the early years. i remember him saying in one video that your favorite artist is yourself and i still think that it's one of the most profound things i heard someone say about art. i create bc i love to, i am my favorite artist. Of course i have other favorite artists, beside myself, but i do love my art, even if it's sometimes not quite how i want it to be.

he also said that improving in art is like taking a tiny row boat out to sea. the further you get from the shore, the harder it is to see how far you've come! those were the things that shaped me back then, when all i drew was edgy teen angst art about gore and robots and the german youtubers i liked to watch :')))

and since he has more of a theorist approach i learned quite a lot about why things look good that way. understanding why you do something is incredible, bc then you can use that purposefully!

but anyway, yeah. my wisdom for any artist is to draw anyway. don't let yourself be frightened by the seemingly impossible. every piece you create forms you, the time you spend is not a waste, even if you're dissatisfied. you are your own favorite artist. and if you're not yet, you will be <3

I already replied this to a comment on instagram but i don't think i'll write anything more cohesive about my thoughts on deandra 'doorway haunter' reynolds: she is serving carrie white with a side of regina george after she got hit by that bus. haunting the doorway while her loser brother is hanging out with his loser friend, making fun of old skin mags they found. it's not like she wants to be part of that, but she would have loved to shoot the invitation down.
