Oh and I know that as a fan of RWBY you are a conformist but remember that we are not all as simple as you. Heh, so that it only bothers me with the first message, you already blocked the IP.
I mean, I was asleep when you sent these, so uh no. Didn't block the IP. You're welcome to send more asks if you want.
As for being a conformist, I don't see how providing my own analysis for why people disliked v4/5 makes me such. I don't tend to really post my opinions on the FNDM here, so it seems to me like you're making a bit of a reach and your real goal here is just to be rude. I mean, "we are not all as simple as you"? C'mon, that's just mean-spirited for the sake of it.

You are fans of RWBY no matter what volume it is, you are a sect that believes that all RWBY is good and wonderful and when someone differs and points out the bad, you simply block it so that your bubble does not burst.
I guess this is because I said I like volumes 4 and 5?
I really don't know how to respond to this like,,, yeah I am a fan of the show and therefore I think the show is good and wonderful like why is that a surprise? Isn't that a valid way to be a fan of anything?
I don't see you pointing out any bad things about the show for me to "simply block," (and if you were blocked you couldn't send me asks) and since this is coming from my v4/5 post, I'm guessing you didn't read it fully since I talk about how I thought the fight at Haven wasn't very good. (Love the rest of the volume though!)
You're welcome to point out the bad, but most of what you'll consider bad I probably won't. At the end of the day, I am a fan of the show, and I'm here because I like it. Don't really know what else to tell you :P

Volumes 4 and 5 are my favorite but it seems that a lot of the fandom doesn’t like them at all. Why is that?
to be honest, i don't really know. people have their own reasons for not liking certain volumes, and that's fair.
i wasn't active in the fandom around V4 (in fact, i managed to miss the whole volume while it aired lol), but during V5 a lot of the complaints were about the slower pace, people wanted fights basically every single episode and instead got talking, and so on. overall, i think there are a lot more people enjoying these volumes but the ridiculous amount of negativity that surrounded them at the time made people less likely to talk about them in positive manner, because it wasn't the popular opinion – and if they did, it was always in a "i know it's not great, but..." way.
V4 and V5 following an action heavy V3 probably didn't help, either.
in the end, it's all personal opinions, and frankly when it comes to entertainment the only opinion that matters should be your own.

My take on why people like volumes 4 and 5 less...
TL;DR: Volumes 4 and 5 are a transition period between early rwby and modern rwby, and many of the fans of early rwby found out during V5 they didn't like what modern rwby was going to be.
Volumes 4 and 5 represent (in hindsight) a tonal shift for the show. It starts in volume 4, new setting, new themes, less fights, more emphasis on feelings and emotions. I also wasn't in the fandom then so I can't speak to what people thought, I suspect that many thought the new tone was temporary as the heroes picked themselves up and got back into the fight, and everything would return to "normal" next volume.
Then volume 5 came, and proved this new tone wasn't going to be temporary, and that this was the new style and pacing for the show. I think that annoyed lots of the fans of the original 3 volumes that thought this show was going to be one thing (shounen action anime), and now it's turning out to be not that.
Additionally, the people who thought this was going to be shounen action anime are probably also the same people who place value on the classic anime fights. In my opinion, volume 5 is probably the most disappointing for them simply because it does not consistently live up to volume 1/2/3 in that regard. The fight at Haven outside of the vault is not of the same quality as the other fights of the show, and considering it's the climax of the show, that probably annoyed fans of volume 3. The first time I watched rwby, the fight at Haven was the only time that my immersion in the series broke across the 7.5 volumes I watched (due to the fight quality).
Those people who thought rwby would be a shounen action anime have slowly left the fandom (or become an anti), so the idea that volumes 4 and 5 were actually good is becoming more prevalent as more of them leave.
Just to be clear I love volumes 4 and 5. V4 cemented Sun as one of my favorites. The themes of V4 and especially Yang's struggle is the reason that the show connected with me. Yang fighting the bandits is one of my all-time favorite rwby fights (the visual story-telling in this fight is just top-notch, how it reflects what Yang's gone through, her mental state, I could go on and on about it). I love freezerburn (platonic or romantic) and the Yang/Weiss character interactions feed my soul. The animation is *gorgeous,* the character shorts can never get enough love, and the soundtrack is probably my favorite from any of the volumes.
But that wasn't what a great deal of the fans who saw v1-3 wanted.
Volumes 4 and 5 are my favorite but it seems that a lot of the fandom doesn’t like them at all. Why is that?
to be honest, i don't really know. people have their own reasons for not liking certain volumes, and that's fair.

Jaune: Bad News - Nora locked herself inside our dorm and refused to let us into her "castle."
Jaune: Good News - We didn't have to wait around for Goodwitch to let us back in.
Jaune: Bad News - Ren finds it very concerning that I know how to pick locks, and tried to unlock my Tragic Backstory™. I was too embarrassed to admit that the reason I learned it was because, at thirteen, I figured that was the kind of skill that would impress cute girls.
Jaune: Good News - A cute girl saw me do it.
Jaune: Bad News - It was Pyrrha, and since she's already seen me fall out of several trees, cry because I saw a fawn that was just too damn small, and knows I can ride a unicycle, she'll never think I'm cool no matter what I do. It's too late. She knows.
