Nothing but respect for the Mc-zilla monster
The McDonald's arch from my city's branch grew fucking huge like some sort of Godzilla and started walking towards the sea. When it got there, it just stayed underwater.

Grimoire in Code!
I’m genuinely curious...Has anyone else ever written their BOS/Grimoire in a coded language? I don’t really need to, (my friends and family respect my privacy.) Still, the idea of a very pissed off archeologist in the far future trying to decipher my book is inherently hilarious to me.
Archeologist 1: What does it say?
Archeologist 2: It says...something.
A1: Can you be more specific?
A2: No.

City Witch Substitutions
“I need to cast a spell!”
The spell: one super rare herb, that must be harvested by an 8 fingered thief in a church graveyard, after midnight, on a lunar eclipse.
Me: I have rosemary. It’ll still work.
(Don’t get me wrong, some spells require exactness, because they are dangerous. But I don’t have the time/money/or inclination to track down every single ingredient for every single spell I cast.)

Beginner Witch vs Advanced Witch
Me as a witch at age 20: This is my altar, it’s big and very witchy. Look at my new athame, cauldron, and 100 types incense.
Me as a witch at age 25: This is my altar. I keep it in a Buffy the Vampire Slayer lunchbox.

This is a great tip!
Holistic Witch Tip #2
Love Juice but feel like you need to cut down? I got you Love, get a fruit tea (I've linked a couple of my favorites below, they're all under $5 a box!) and brew 3 teabags overnight in 33 oz. of water. In the morning take half and put it over ice or stick it in the refrigerator to get it cold (if you like your juice cold). Add half a lemon and a tbsp of honey (or as much of each as you'd like.) Mix and enjoy!
Note: This would be a great and affordable way to use fruit in a spell. Just choose a tea containing a fruit that corresponds to your spell. You can also add herbs and/or spices to your tea too!

This is going to sound weird. I am fully aware of this, but someone else might experience this too... I feel anxiety in a different part of my body than my gut instinct. I can also tell when it’s anxiety, because I feel “hyped”. When I’m anxious, I tend to “spin-out” and fall into “what ifs”. My gut is quieter, and more resolute. However, this is after years of therapy, which taught me to be mindful. I still struggle with the difference between gut instinct and anxiety. I’m working on it though! Cool post! : )
Thanks, theskepticalwitch
Good afternoon Witches,
Today I want to share with you something that I have experienced and feel that maaaybe you all should try.
Listen to your gut instinct. Listen to your first instinct, when it comes to people, a problem, anything. Listen to it. You don't have to necessarily follow it, but observe it, and then see what happens after. See if you were right.
I've found that my gut instinct is really amazing.
This is magic that you can experience and help to hone with results you can see. Learn it dears.
Please stay safe, as always, and have a lovely day.

This is lowkey my dream. I don’t want much, just a little hidden, flower covered cottage. No worries or concerns, but making tea and cookies for my guests, and attending to the bees. Curling up with a book in front of the hearth at the end of the day. I will work to get there. Thanks for sharing this!

Witch Tip # 2
Why aren’t my spells working?
I used to ask that question a lot. It always turned out my energy was out of whack on a personal level. Magick requires focused intention. You have to know exactly what you want. Start small.

Divination
Folks,
This needs to be said. If you are a witch and having trouble finding a divination method that feels right to you... Don’t worry! You aren’t any less witchy because the cards don’t speak to you! Just because they don’t speak to you at this point in your life, doesn’t mean they never will. Besides, there’s a lot of divination methods out there. And if it isn’t safe to have obvious divination tools that’s okay. The divine, (whatever that is to YOU), would not want you to put yourself in danger. It took me a loooooonnnggg time to learn tarot. And even longer to find a deck that I’m on the same page with. Relax. Good magick takes more than a day.
<3 you my paranormal peeps,
M.K.

Witch Tip # 1
Me at age 20: Don't overly bond with your tarot deck. It's an inanimate object, it does not have feelings.
Me at age 25: This is my tarot deck Frank, and he's an asshole.

This needs to be said so loudly. Thank you!
Witchcraft isn't dangerous because of the craft itself.
Witchcraft is dangerous because of the misinformation that is spread by people who want to take advantage of others.
Please, if something feels wrong, do not do it. And if you're going to listen to someone online, do your own research too.
