I'm sorry if this seems like a stupid question but.

First of all I'd like to say I LOVE your webcomic, I binged read it AND binge re-read it at least like 7 times now haha

But my question is: are any of the character's written to be neurodivergent in some way? I'm neurodivergent and I personally headcanon renn as nd but I'd like to know if there was any intention on your part?

Honestly, it's something I haven't really given thought too. I'm not neurodivergent (as far as I know), and even the term itself is something I had only heard about recently. I can totally see how Renn and some of the character's can be read as neurodivergent, and I won't say you're wrong or right!

Though, personally because I lack the experience to write it, for now it's not really something I'm gonna dive into with the story.

I just wanted to say that your art style is absolutely gorgeous and captivating, and thank you for all the dedication and creativity you put into creating Blooming Season.

As a young desi, it’s so refreshing and meaningful to see the positive representation of a South Asian character as a complex, beautiful individual rather than the stereotypical nerd/loser archetype that I was used to seeing growing up. I hope you know the media you create has a truly positive impact on the confidence and feeling of being included for all your brown readers.

Speaking of the representing South Asians as beautiful, complex individuals, why is Hasna-Hana literally perfect? (His hair, cool boi vibes, math skills. Meanwhile, poor Renn is dying in precalc.) This brings me to my random question: what are some cool things (that we haven’t learned from the story so far) that Renn is way better than Hasna at?

Honestly, Renn's a pretty good student besides the math situation. I think he also has a lot of genuine empathy for people, and that's not something you come by often. But if were talking about things he's better at than Hasna... probably cooking.
