“What’s wrong, Y/N?”

What wasn’t wrong? You loved your job, you really did. Being able to help people, saving lives, inspiring- you will forever be grateful that you’d been able to become a hero, but it wasn’t all easy rescues and good feelings. Your time as a hero had been filled with many battles, some of which you had barely survived, and those battles had left you with many scars, both mental and physical. The physical ones were plaguing you more at the moment.

You hated them. They marred your skin, some visible no matter how you tried to cover them, and you felt worse and worse about yourself every time you caught a glimpse of them. You wanted them gone, but even with all of the amazing Quirks in the world, that wasn’t a possibility. It wasn’t possible and were left staring at yourself in the mirror, naked with your scars on full display, a mixture of disgust and sorrow in your eyes.

Izuku had apparently noticed your sour mood, and he was now standing behind you, concern etched into his features. You couldn’t bare to look him in the eyes, whether that was directly or through the mirror, and you couldn’t come up with a reasonable answer to give him that wouldn’t further worry him. Instead, you let your head hang, one of your arms crossing over your chest to hold onto the other, shuffling where you stood and hoping that he would drop the issue. He did not.

Both of his hands come to rest on your shoulders, and he gave them a gentle, reassuring squeeze.

“Please tell me, Y/N. I can’t help you if you don’t.”

You felt bad for hesitating because you knew how much he cared about you, and that his concern was genuine, but putting what you were feeling into words was difficult, especially when you were talking to someone as bright and confident as Izuku. In your moment of hesitation, though, you absentmindedly stroked one of your scars, and that was more than enough to key Izuku in on what was bothering you.

You heard him sigh behind you, felt the wind of it on the back of your neck, and you were afraid that he was mad, annoyed with your self-pity. But then you felt his arm curling around your waist. You couldn’t help but feel some reassurance from the firm hold that he had on you, and that was only reinforced by the soft kiss that he placed on the back of your shoulder.

“I wish these didn’t bother you so much, Y/N. You’re beautiful, and no amount of scars will ever change that.”

You didn’t reply, but he could tell that you weren’t convinced. He placed both of his hands on your belly, spreading out his fingers and gently rubbing them against your skin.

“You don’t feel the same way about mine, do you?”

He knew for a fact that you didn’t, but he wanted to hear you say it, hoping that it would help you realize just how unwarranted your doubts were.

“…No…”

He laid his head against your shoulder, and you could almost feel him smiling against your skin.

“I know you don’t. I seem to remember you liking them quite a bit, right?”

His hands started to rub at you more firmly now, kneading against your belly before moving out to your sides, and then down to your hips. His skin was rough because of his own scars, and the feeling of them had your breath hitching, and your heart started to race as their trail veered toward your inner thighs. You gasped as they kept moving up, so close to your aching core, but then they diverted from that course, moving to settle on your belly again instead.

“See? There’s nothing wrong with my scars, so why should anything be wrong with yours?”

You didn’t have an answer for that, but he knew that he had your attention now. One of his hands slowly trailed up until it cupped your breast, and the other started to circle your belly again. His rough thumb brushed across your nipple, bringing it to a stiff peak before bringing his forefinger up and gently plucking at that peak, using the perfect amount of pressure that he knew you loved.

“To tell you the truth, Y/N, I absolutely love your scars.”

His other hand moved away from your belly, dipping between your legs and rubbing along your slit. You sighed at the action, inching your hips further apart to give him more access to your sex. His touch always felt so amazing, and you were ready to lose yourself to it. The fact that you could see exactly what he was doing to you in the mirror only served to make everything that much more intense. You could see Izuku’s loving gaze focused on you, with his strong, scarred arms around you, his fingers moving against you. It was one of the most erotic things that you had ever seen, and your scars were the furthest thing from your mind at that point. You felt sexy having Izuku fawn over you, knowing that he wanted you just as badly as you wanted him.

“I think they’re beautiful. I think they show just how strong you really are.”

His fingers slipped just past your lips, lightly prodding at your clit.

“Now, let me prove it to you.”
