Tried to stream some Baldurs Gate 3 today, but computer said "NO! This is getting waaay too hot!" and turned itself off midstream... So I had to let it cool off before going live again and making some fan-art instead. This is just a screen-grab of the scan, gonna have to tweak it a bit more in CSP before his true colours starts to show.

I was listening to the panel when Dorian answered this question and yes, they are not going to touch the old app. And thats understandable.

My guess is that they bout the Arcana for the IP, not the app itself. Unless something happens to make the old app way more valuable, at some point, it will die. And that is sad. And annoying.

Dorian runs a platform, they made a fancy fan fic site. They are not a game publisher.

So yea, please do archive whatever you can. A mobile game made by a company that no longer exists, lives on borrowed time.

I don't want to create any scaremongering but at the question "what will happen to the arcana app", Dorian recently answered that they don't have plans on taking it down for NOW.

And i know they'll probably answer "because we can't predict what will happen in the future yet!!" but honestly that's just a way to not get any more complaints about it.

Yeah,,, Imma prioritize trascribing the whole routes/tales scripts in the archive. I give it two years, make your bets
