Dress: Randi Rahm 'Bonita' Gown - $60,000?

Leslie had everyone talking after the finale of the Golden Bachelor last week when she claimed to have picked out a $60,000 dress to wear to the final rose ceremony before Gerry inevitably sent her home two days prior. The dress was never shown in the episode, however the sneak peak of the finale shown the previous episode displayed Leslie in this blue strapless gown that was never featured in the finale.

Was this the dress? I would guess, yes. This dress is by designer Randi Rahm. Dresses by this designer have been seen on the leads of the show for over a decade now. This particular dress appears to be from an older collection, dated back to 2017 or prior.

Now for the important questions... is the dress really $60,000? In an interview Randi Rahm herself had with Business Insider in 2022, she stated the the most expensive gowns worn on The Bachelorette cost between $30,000 and $75,000. Why? Labor. These gowns are made by hand and often covered in extensive amounts of beading. But is this dress $60,000? From what I could find online, it is from an old collection which has been posted as far back as 2017 and does not have some of the extensive beading seen on other Randi Rahm gowns. However, my guess is the dress is still far from cheap.

Did Leslie pay $60,000 for the dress? No. While contestants on The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have to bring their own wardrobe for the show, the final contestants work with the shows stylist, Cary Fetman, to pick out a gown for the final rose ceremony/proposal. This dress is typically on lend to the contestant. They just wear it for the episode and give it back after. Cary has dresses a plethora of former Bachelorette leads and Bachelor finalists in Randi Rahm gowns in the past, hence my confidence in this dress being the one Leslie mentioned. Theresa, the women Gerry proposed to in the final, was also seen wearing a Randi Rahm gown during her proposal.

Ring: Neil Lane Couture 3.15 Carat Princess Cut Diamond Ring - est $90,000.000

The first ever Golden Bachelor, Gerry Turner, got down on one knee Thursday night to propose to Theresa Nist. Theresa was wearing a lilac sequined gown by Randi Rahm. While there is no price listed for the gown, similar looks by this designer range anywhere from $2,000 to above $20,000. If this dress looks familiar, it is the same gown Michelle wore on her season finale back in 2021 in a slightly different tone. Don't miss the "The Golden Wedding" premiering live on ABC January 4, 2024.

Gerry proposed with a princess cut natural diamond ring from Neil Lane. Two baguette diamonds accent the center stone with an additional 128 round brilliant cut diamonds to complete the design. The ring has a total weight of 3.15 carats. Similar rings by the designer range in price from $90,000 to $150,000, hence my estimate of the ring costing around $90,000.
