Current DIY work in process...

5 different size drill bits used and other than four of the holes meeting as I went in wonky a couple of times (not use to a drill on mains power, the one I usually use I forgot to charge). I'm very happy with how it's coming along. I have a piece of fake grass (sample) coming, as I have a little mushroom my dad made at a woodworking taster day, that I plan on fixing to the top... The log and the mushroom have less than flat surfaces so they look odd with a gap between them and rather than compromise the mushroom by planing it, I'm fixing the grass to the top to fill the gap.

Might get some little mini ladybugs/bees to add too, maybe ??? Not sure if I'm adding fixings to mount it, hang it or create a base for it to stand in the garden safely.

Really enjoying this project so I'll be on the look out for logs on my daily walks, lol.

PSA. The dark chocolate ginger biscuits and bars are devine, and equally as moreish (in fact they're my faves). Not a big biscuit eater, but I need to find different varieties of these Border biscuits because they're next level. 😍
