I’m moving in two weeks to a new city and I keep crying every time I think about it too much. I just had to scroll back to find an email from around when we moved in and got emotional seeing the “Welcome to your new home” emails. I feel so attached to this flat and I’m so sad to leave it.

I also remember, though, that I cried before moving in here, too, because I didn’t want to leave my family home and was apprehensive about moving to a new city. It took me so long to settle in because I didn’t get out and explore enough and get comfy with the area. Need to remember that as long as I’m open to the new place and making a life there, it’ll feel like home soon enough. I did it once, I can do it again.
