I've decided that I'm going to be making more art for scenes of my fanfic series, Growing Pains, mainly because it STILL holds an important place in my heart.

I also thought it would be nice for new readers and the readers who like to go back. 🌻💖

Anyways, more info below!

This is art for one of my favorite scenes in Growing Pains 2, chapter chapter 11, they're both super grounded, and Frisk desperately wants a candy bar, so they sneak out together to a nearby gas station shop, however, first, they have to dawn on disguises! ......Which they're both arguably very terrible at.

There's also a very serious kiss that happens and I've recently realized, that I hadn't written a scene where Frisk takes off their fake mustache beforehand and I couldn't resist. It's too funny.

Does anyone remember that time Flowey died in Growing Pains 2 Chapter 11, and no one cared?

There was a thoughtful silence before Frisk spoke up, “y’know, maybe she could keep a secret, she does feel bad for us after all,”

Flowey scowled with uncertainty, “no…I don’t want to risk it,”

“risk what?” an uncomfortably familiar voice said from behind them.

The two teens jumped back as they saw Sans standing there, who was smiling curiously back, with Flowey nearly dropping his bag of chocolate pretzels in the process.

“Holy spit, how did you track us?” Frisk asked.

“i heard the back door close, and spotted you two leaving…one thing lead to another and i dunno, looks like i’m here,” he explained.

Frisk let out a defeated sigh, “wow, you are a much better babysitter than I thought you were,”

“Hey! Never thought I’d see you guys here, oh…nea- nice outfits,” Alphys chimed up from nearby.

Flowey let out a tired shaky groan and pretended to collapse in his potbot, rolling his eyes inside of his head and dying from the shear failure.

“Er…um, is he…okay?” Alphys asked, concerned.

“they snuck out, i’m pretty sure they didn’t want to be found,” Sans said, earning another sigh from Frisk.

“Huh? Why would you- oh! That’s right! Ms. Toriel said you two weren’t allowed to have any sweets,” Alphys recollected sympathetically.

“Or go anywhere without her…,” Frisk added, pouting.

“So…,” Alphys began, looking at Sans, “you must have followed them,”

Frisk drooped their head dramatically, nearly mimicking Flowey now “yep, we’ve been… caught candy handed,”

And then he fucking came back to life?

“Don’t worry, I won’t tell anyone that I saw you guys here,” Alphys offered.

“same here, your parents are cool and all, but i’m ice cold,” Sans agreed.

Flowey’s rolled his eyes back in to place and lifted his head, “what?”

While working on these chapters. I've thought about the music I have been putting at the top of each chapter. I'll probably name them when it's all done and compiled for an easy playlist. Something about just trying to find them while it's being worked on would be fun. I think at least.

👀 I completely agree, one of my favorite thing about writing stories is making playlists and looking for fitting songs for each chapter (if I'm really lucky, sometimes the songs find me first.)

Making playlists for the characters is a ton of fun too.

So... on my Flowey Ask blog, I've had THIS particular Ask sitting in the inbox, collecting dust for what has been years now.

I've been hesitating to use it because it's 'usually not the right time', but mainly because I know it's going to be like 'WOW, HE'S HIS TRUE SELF AGAIN AND HE HAS A REAL BODY AND HE'S SO HAPPY' at the beginning.... but it WILL end up being so depressing and dramatic once the whole thing is done and over with, because gifting him one of his deepest desires and then ripping it away is ultimately very cruel.

It'll be one good story to tell, but it's gonna hurt a lot for everyone (me included) if I ever decide to go through with it.

Back when I was new to the Undertale fandom, my BFF said I reminded him of (or was like) Alphys, I didn't quite understand his thought process at the time. I'm not a genius or an otaku.

However, once I started to realize how important the game was to me and started calling Flowey 'my sonflower', I could begin to see some of the similarities. I guess??? 😅

Also, I have these old doodles of Flowey interacting with cats.

He's probably like 11 or 12 petting a neighborhood non magical cat for the first time and secretly enjoying it.

I also had a funny idea for Growing Pains 2, where 21 year old Flowey starts playing music for money and ends up attracting a bunch of kitties. (I believe it was inspired by a video I saw??)

I was thinking...what if Frisk didn't have allergies and had given Flowey a little black kitten instead of a betta fish?

He definitely still would have named it Andromeda (aka Orange Juice)

I think it really would have worked out well because cats will literally cuddle up to anything, and the dirt area of Flowey's potbot would be the Ultimate Cuddle rest spot because he'd be able to easily reach them for pets and snuggles.

I dunno, Flowey seems like a potential cat lover, he wouldn't even get upset if he got scratched. 🌻😼

Flowey- (sharply turns and glares at Chris) “Sorry about this Frisk, but I really have to do something about this nerd...,”

Frisk- “What...?”

Flowey- (he then approaches Chris, hands out, ready to grab) “Come here Chris! You’ve just lost your privileges to my room!”

Frisk- (panics) “ASRIEL! NO!” 

It’s too late as Flowey easily snatches up Chris and goes to his window, with Frisk rushing after...

Frisk- “I AM GOING TO BE SO MAD AT YOU IF YOU THROW THEM OUT-,”

Flowey- (proceeds to open up the window) “I’m not going to ‘throw’ them, I’m going to ‘toss’ them, there’s a difference! And they’ll hardly notice it!”

(Off screen sounds of a distant thud, as Chris is successfully tossed out of the house.)

Frisk- “ASRIEL DREEMURR!!”

The Cores from Portal 1!

Don't know what struck me to paint Anger Core's fingernails, it just felt right with their little hand out there.

And yes, I made the Morality core resemble Caroline a little.

And the Curiosity core resembles how I draw the humanized (android??) Turrets, because their cute little voices are so similar.

And the Intelligence core looks.........well, they ended up looking like a thrift store tumblr sexyman.
