Which One of These STUNNING Rush Albums Will Win In An Album War??
Hi everyone! Sorry for the late upload, it was a busy day. I'm glad I was able to get a new upload of "Album Wars" out while it's still Friday though! I figured today, I would look at two albums by the legendary Canadian prog band Rush. The two albums being tossed up are 'Farewell To Kings' from 1977, and 'Hemispheres' from 1978. Both are very well regarded albums by critics and fans alike, but only one will win the album war! Some details that I will be looking at are album covers, songs, performances, opening tracks, closing tracks, etc.
Please let me know in the comments which album wins for you! If you listen to these albums for the first time after this video, let me know your reaction to them.

Hi everyone! As many of my viewers know, Yes is one of my favorite bands of all time. Their classic era resulted in some of the greatest albums of all time, and were landmarks to prog. After the 1978 album 'Tormato', the band was hit with the blow of losing members Jon Anderson and Rick Wakeman. With Anderson being one of the most iconic and recognizable vocalists of prog, moving on after this would be a big risk for the band. The replacements for those two were Trevor Horn and Geoff Downes from the Buggles. Together, they created one of the coolest Yes albums ever, 'Drama'. It went back to the complex proggy roots of the group while adding in some cool new wave and pop styles. While it mostly sounds like a traditional Yes album, it definitely had a refreshing originality to it too.
During this video, I will give my thoughts on this album. Let me know what you think about it in the comments! If you listen to it for the first time after this video, let me know your reaction in the comments.

Ranking The Studio Albums: UFO's Schenker Era('Phenomenon'-'Obsession')
If you have watched my past videos, you will likely know that I am obsessed with the band UFO! My favorite era of theirs is definitely the five album of their original run with legendary guitarist Michael Schenker. He added a certain flare of dangerousness to the band with his frantic riffs and undeniable taste during his guitar solos. During this video, I will be ranking those five albums from my least favorite to favorite. I do honestly think that they are all amazing albums, but I like a some of them more than others. Everything that I say during this video is my opinion, and I would love to hear yours too! Let me know what your rankings of these albums are in the comments!
Ps. I will not be including their live album 'Strangers in the Night' in this ranking, because I see it as an album in its own league. I do still talk about my love for that album during the span of the video though.
Make sure to subscribe to my channel for tons more reviews, rankings, album wars, etc. of rock, prog, metal, jazz, and soul music. I also plan on doing a video in the next couple days of my favorite finds of June 2021! Let me know if there are any bands or albums that you would like to hear me talk about!

Album War #2: Iron Maiden(1980) Vs. Killers(1981)
Hi everyone! Welcome to the second episode of my new series, "Album Wars"!! For this episode, I figured I would talk about one of the most iconic metal bands in history, Iron Maiden. I chose their first two albums, which featured former lead singer Paul Di'Anno. I have always been a huge fan of this era, and it is my favorite of the band. Trying to choose a favorite between the two was definitely a hard task!
During this video, I will go through the track listings, production, album covers, and performances on both of these albums so I can try to decide which one will win the album war! Everything that I say in this video is my opinion, and I would love to hear yours too! Which album wins for you?
Make sure to subscribe to my channel for tons more reviews, rankings, album wars, etc. of rock, prog, metal, jazz, and soul music!! Review: AC/DC- Let There Be Rock(1977 International Version)
With three albums out in Australia and two internationally(plus one EP), AC/DC were well on their way to making a name for themselves. Their raw energy and bluesy hard rock style were a great combination for Bon Scott's larger than life persona and witty lyrics, and they were an unstoppable force. In 1977, they released their fourth album(third internationally), and it was titled 'Let There Be Rock'. The album boasted crisp production, heavy tracks all the way through, and a couple hits. It was a successful album for the band, and has remained a fan favorite since. How does it hold up almost 45 years since its release?
During this video, I will give my opinion on this iconic album. Please let me know your own thoughts on it in the comments! If you listen to it for the first time after this video, let me know your reaction.

Review: John Coltrane- Africa/Brass(1961)
John Coltrane had already made a name for himself on the Prestige, Atlantic, and Blue Note labels as a solo artist with classic albums like 'Blue Train', 'Giant Steps', and 'My Favorite Things' during the 50's and the very beginning of the 60's. In 1961, he began releasing his albums on the Impulse label, and the first was 'Africa/Brass'. The album had an all star lineup with musicians like McCoy Tyner, Elvin Jones, and Reggie Workman, and it featured some of John's well known tracks like "Africa" and "Greensleeves". How does it hold up after 60 years since its original release?
During this video, I will share my thoughts on this album from Coltrane's catalog. Everything I say is my opinion, and I would also love to hear your own. Let me know what you think of this album in the comments! If you listen to it for the first time after this video, let me know your reaction.
