(via Through My Sister's Eyes: Allison And Katie Crutchfield On Each Other's Music | NPR)
"NPR did something that Allison and Katie say no one's ever tried before: We interviewed each sister, separately, about the other's music. Though the two women weren't in the studio together, their memories and observations interacted as if in conversation with one another: coinciding, diverging, realigning, echoing. Maybe it's no accident that their work — together and separately — seems to do the same".

(Eye Am by Jlin)
Two percussive tracks that deviate from the standard style of Jlin's brand of experimental music originally derived from footwork.

(Hacia el Vacío by Mabe Fratti)
"Mabe says “I focused on the idea of “diagramation”. The act of putting something in a room and the process of how you arrange it and applying this to how we arrange words. It’s about how do you move from one place in the room to the other there are objects in the way? There’s always on option to make a route hard and long or short and easy. Looking at it this way and applying it to communication, I couldn’t separate the idea of simplification and optimization. It’s a matter of purpose.” Throughout the record, Mabe uses the questioning to frame how to link the start and the end of a song. Creating objects for the listener to find as the album progresses from layers of cello, synthesizers, guitars, plates, clappings and field recordings such as the birds of La Orduña".

(Patch Notes: Hélène Vogelsinger - 180 Fact)
"As part of the practice behind Hélène Vogelsinger‘s modular synth compositions, the French singer and sound designer explores abandoned places and connects with their energies to create immersive and suspended moments. “I love the fact that they have layers of stories and histories, with different occupants, often crossing times, and always full of beautiful and melancholic poetry,” she says."

It is a slow moving trio of tunes that builds into something unexpected that strays beyond the label of ambient into the territory of electronic music with added extra beats.

(via WASTING TIME FEAT DRAKE & THE NEPTUNES by Brent Faiyaz)
Super smooth track, the Neptunes are still capable of creating great tracks after all these years of being in the music business. Faiyaz produces his usual sultry vocals and Drake does what he does best.
An article about the album in Rolling Stones including the experience of working with the Neptunes, ‘Brent Faiyaz Believes We Are Living In a ‘Wasteland.’ He Makes It Sound Damn Good’

A video whose references of couple who are no longer regarded as solid as they once were dates it to a specific time when various celebrity couples were greatly admired. Kanye West apparently co-wrote and co-produced this track, according to Wikipedia. Fun fact, Erykah Badu made a track using the same Eddie Kendricks track, Initimate Friends.
