No, Seriously, we are 100% sleeping on Wei Wuxian's strength. For him to have the ability to throw an arrow so accurately and with enough force to actually kill a guy? All while not having a core and pretty much half-dead? His strength must have been insane with a core to be able to still do that without one. Even if he had resentful energy helping him, DUDE IS TERRIFYINGLY STRONG AND I LOVE HIM.

For someone who is very rigid about the rules, Lan Qiren sure does break a lot of them, especially in regards to WWX. He shouts, he shows excessive emotion (mostly anger), he was very quick to judge WWX, and there are probably a lot of other rules he breaks by treating WWX the way he does (I’m sure throwing a book at him broke quite a few rules (is it considered instigating a fight?))

And yet, after all of that, he never punishes himself, but he consistently punishes WWX, who was never really given time to get used to any of the rules they have in the first place.

As for their fwb phase, that's hard to discern. They first did the deed on the last Friday of a month at the end of the year because there was a winter themed menu at a cafe when King went around the office building looking for Uea. So november?

It took them one week to go and get tested. Then, a couple of days before they became fwb.

We don't get many timestamps at the beginning, but from the novel, we know that Uea's birthday is in October. So~ by the time ep4 rolls in, they've already been at it for almost a year. Following the birthday everything is going great, until Krit shows up and Kings mother forces him to go on the arranged date.

The cancelled trip was supposed to take place on a long weekend at the end of July (so 9 months since Uea's birthday) A couple of days before (a day before in the novel), King cancels because of the arranged date.

By that time we also learn that Jade went to Phuket for a week.

Uea starts pushing King away, and it's probably a couple of weeks before Krit attempts to SA Uea. King and Uea argue, and King leaves. Now in the show there's no timestamp but in the novel King explains that he chose to give Uea a week to cool off, because he remembers how his attempts at talking to Uea after their first drunken sex went.

He wants to talk to Uea on Monday at work, but during that weekend, Krit went to Uea's mother's house, and the fallout happened.

On Monday morning Uea is already in Lampang.

A couple of days goes by and King takes care of everything in the office and follows Uea to Lampang.

In the novel, they are there together for three days. In the show its hard to say, but it probably went similar as I think we only see them wearing one set of clothing iirc.

This is the only point in the novel where the timeline stops making sense because it should be September at best yet Uea says it's winter already and then there's the end of the year.

What we have in the show is the Christmas day. They are still not officially together. Fast forward and its Valentines Day and boom on 15th Feb they are official in the show.

Some time passes and they meet the parents, it doesn't go well. On the next day King is sick and his mother visits.

The trip at the beginning of the last episode takes place in March (23rd-25th) as seen on the screen.

The next timestamp says it's been a year later, and King is buying a ring and he proposes after Valentines Day (in the novel he bought the ring early into their relationship and waited for their first anniversary and wanted to propose on valentines day and I think the same thing happened here. He proposed on the 15th).

So from their first trip together to the proposal it's either one or two years.

Can someone please explain the timeline of Bed friend the series? I am getting confused with all the time skips. I haven't read the book so based on the series it will most likely be like 3 years since their relationship started- including the fwb phase(which let's be honest looks a lot like dating to me). But I saw a post saying its been 4 yrs and now I'm confused 😅
