Call me Vivian, pronouns he/him, studying to be an engineer. I variously post unfunny jokes, random stuff about Pixar's Cars, and occasionally reblog some Countryhumans and Raggedy Anne
I love when city-builder games have like a "science" or "knowledge" resource that you need to unlock new things. Like yeah the boys have been cranking those numbers out. Figuring out a lot of information. They have made exactly 700 information so far. We can use their research to either make a fairground or a waste treatment plant, but not both.
I think we're starting to dilute the meaning of "terminally online". Like, no, it's not terminally online to have eccentric opinions about a popular TV show – people like that existed before "online" was a thing. Unless we're talking at least an "it's homophobic for gay furries to have rat fursonas because they're depicting gay people as vermin", the onlineness falls well short of terminal.
Decided to bring this back what with how I'm feeling about my current semester
Me going into community college certain that I’m going to succeed, easy-peasy bachelor’s degree-sy
Me, twelve weeks in, two full essays behind in English 101, seven weeks behind in my Math class, and no idea what to do for my group project in Engineering
i feel so bad for nikola tesla like imagine spending years beefing with a guy who has conned the public into believing he's some sort of supergenius when in reality it's his overworked employees developing all of his world-changing inventions and you end up dying broke and starving and alone and then 100 years later another guy cons the public into believing he's some sort of supergenius when in reality it's his overworked employees developing all of his world-changing inventions and he's doing it all IN YOUR NAME. he must be rolling in his grave like a fucking rotisserie chicken
OCs are so fun to make in WoC but i swear the annoying part is the immense research that has to go behind choosing their model and making a backstory accordingly to the history of that model sometimes too.
